Beatrice realized that there were people sitting at the same table with her who, like her, were looking for a chef who could cook dishes from a new world.
Although they had a similar goal, they were different from each other. Beatrice was an ordinary mortal woman, but those sitting across from her weren't.
How could a woman like her not be afraid of these people?
Deep down, Beatrice was terrified, but professional restraint did not allow her to show it outwardly, and she tried to appear calm.
"Heh," — Darkia chuckled, as if sensing Beatrice's fear and not buying her appearance.
"Why do you need this chef?" she managed to say.
"Why? I want to open my own restaurant, and I need a talented chef," Arabel replied, really considering Sofia for this role.
"I like her cooking, so if she refuses her offer, then I'll just take her in," Darkia said.
