"Don't tell me..." Idan was already beginning to guess what Essora meant, but he couldn't quite believe it.
"Heh, — Essora grinned, seeing that the guy had already taken her hint.
"If someone who has the blood of the Grandia Royal Family in his veins establishes a connection with the artifact, then the artifact will have a fifth unique ability," she said after taking a short pause. "The ability to manipulate time."
Idan was stunned by this discovery.
He already had an idea of the first three abilities of the Secret Concealment Realm and could easily imagine how the fifth one would work. This inspired him even more.
"Don't you know how to manipulate time? Then why do we need an artifact?" asked Idan, recovering a little.
"You call that time manipulation?" replied Essora. "Time is an unpredictable, complex and dangerous element. The royal family of Grandia, for many years of its existence and its proximity to this element, has not been able to find a way to use it properly."
