(Third Person POV)
The next morning in Eldoria kingdom, Adrian lay flat on his bed, fists clenched, tears threatening to fall from his eyes.
It had been three days since he left Asher's realm. He was angry.
Not at Asher.
Not at anyone else.
He was angry at himself—for being angry.
There's nothing to be angry about, he told himself over and over.
And yet, the ache in his chest wouldn't go away.
Was it because he saw Tama kissing Asher while they bathed together, naked? He wasn't sure.
And why did it matter so much, anyway?
Suddenly, his mother's voice echoed from the sitting room.
With a sigh, he sat up, grabbed his eyeglasses from the nightstand, and trudged out of the room.
In the sitting room, he found his mother—a curvaceous woman, slightly taller than him, with pale skin and long purple hair that matched his. She wore her usual glasses, lounging on the couch wrapped in a white towel while two men, his fathers, massaged her—one at her shoulders, the other at her feet.
