"Not even a scream? I admit—you're stronger than me," came a respectful voice from behind.
Darkseid felt a searing pain in his groin, and his mind blanked for a brief moment.
Then, more sonic booms tore across the sky, and clouds were shattered by the shockwaves.
"So strong!" Wonder Woman exclaimed. Her stunning eyes remained locked on the two black silhouettes battling in the sky, filled with awe.
She noticed her teammates looked uncomfortable.
"What's wrong with you guys?"
"Nothing."
"Yeah, just recovering from previous injuries."
"More of a Demon King than the Demon King himself."
One by one, the men averted their gazes, unable to meet her eyes.
Every one of them instinctively tightened their legs, feeling a phantom pain.
"Definitely not someone you want to fight."
Though Darkseid had been flung away, the Parademons remained.
With horrid screeches, they charged at the superheroes.
But no one was afraid. Everyone readied themselves for battle.

A bolt of blue lightning crashed from the sky, frying countless Parademons and smashing into the ground.
From within stepped a bald man in black, eyes stern as he surveyed the battlefield.
"Who are you?" Batman asked in a deep voice.
"Black Adam. I've come to support you on the leader's orders."
Black Adam glanced at Shazam, then looked into the distance. He could feel a power similar to his own out there.
But first, he had to complete his mission.
Crackle!
Blue lightning burst from his hands. After zapping one enemy, the bolt leaped to others nearby.
Electricity danced and darted through the Parademon horde. Each flash was accompanied by agonized howls and charred bodies falling from the sky like rain.
"Cool! Dude, how did you do that? And that thunderbolt on your chest looks just like mine," Shazam said as he ran up, curious.
Black Adam glanced at him.
"Read more books."
He ignored Shazam and flew back into the crowd, slaughtering more Parademons.
"Read more books… I want to, but every time I open one, I get sleepy," Shazam mumbled, trying to mimic Black Adam's attack.
The others weren't idle either.
They joined in to help eliminate the Parademons.
FAIZ found the still-repairing armory and discovered a fully restored weapon—Crimson Drill!
A red drill whirled across the battlefield, tearing through multiple enemies.

The eternal glaciers began to crack and melt. Towering icebergs collapsed, creating earth-shaking noise.

Darkseid grabbed Kino's leg and flung him like a rag doll.
Kino's body flew like a cannonball, crashing through mountain after mountain, turning them to powder.
As he tried to stabilize, a twisted Omega Beam struck him again, pushing him deep into the heart of Uranus.
Thud!
The ground below rumbled. Cracks spread. The glaciers began to collapse.
Before Darkseid could catch his breath—
Kino burst from the ice, grabbed Darkseid's head, and smashed it into the ground.
Then unleashed a relentless barrage of punches. His fists rained down like meteors, each blow heavy enough to crack a planet.
Darkseid's body was pounded into the glacier like a nail.
But he retaliated with an elbow strike, sending Kino flying.
Darkseid stood again, emotionless.
"Is that all you've got? I'm disappointed."
Kino's lips twitched as he looked at the nearly naked Darkseid, now wearing only a pair of briefs, then glanced down at his own pristine battle suit.
