High in the sky, Kino couldn't find Batman—but Superman did.
"I don't have time to play with you right now," Kino said, clapping both hands together.

Countless portals appeared, surrounding Superman from every direction—above, below, left, and right.
"RAAAHHHHH!"Superman roared furiously, firing two intense beams of heat vision straight ahead.

Suddenly, a massive explosion sounded from behind him. Superman was blasted by his own heat vision, sent tumbling chaotically within the spatial labyrinth, completely disoriented.
Meanwhile, Kino finally found the half-destroyed Batman in one of the labyrinth's corners.
Half of his body was gone. If it weren't for his modified demon-like vitality, he would have died long ago.
"Whew, thank goodness. If you had died, I'd have to go fishing for your soul."
Batman weakly lifted his gaze toward Kino. A hoarse, garbled voice escaped his throat.
"Grr… You… grrk… who… are you…"
Though the words were slurred, Kino was visibly surprised.
"Even in this state, you're still conscious? You alone just raised the upper limit of what humans are capable of."
"Grrk… you… grrk… who… are…"
Batman seemed only capable of repeating that one line.
"I'll heal you both first before we talk."
Kino sighed, waving a hand.
In an instant, Superman—previously trapped in the Spatial Labyrinth—appeared before him as well, still mid-attack.
Kino punched him square in the temple.
Superman collapsed, briefly unconscious.
But he quickly recovered and rammed into an invisible wall, then started attacking it like mad, emitting dull thuds.
Again and again, Superman struck the invisible wall, clearly still in a rage.
"I should ask Batman for some kryptonite next time."
[You had a piece. Too bad someone crushed it to look cool.]Venom's sarcastic voice rang out in Kino's mind.
A green magic array enveloped both Superman and Batman, and time began to reverse.
Inside the magic circle, their poses constantly shifted into bizarre positions, until—finally—they were fully restored, returning to their original, unharmed forms.
The two stood still, eyes filled with exhaustion and fury.
Though their bodies had healed, their memories hadn't been erased. They remembered everything.
"Thanks for the help. Who are you?"Batman asked coolly.
"Are you a Kryptonian too?"Superman looked a bit hopeful after spotting the emblem on Kino's chest.
"I'm not," Kino shook his head, crushing Superman's hopes. "I'm from another universe. This suit is just a tribute to the classics."
"You know us—or at least, the versions of us from another universe,"Batman noted, analyzing Kino's expression calmly.
"Yeah. In our world, Superman lost his memory and went on vacation with his wife. And I'm your son Damian's godfather."
Kino casually pulled out a share transfer certificate.
"You literally cried, begged me to take the role. You said only someone as noble as me could qualify—and then forced me to accept 20% of your company shares."
Batman glanced at the document.
The godfather part might be true… but shares? And he was going to have a child?
BOOOOM!
A deafening explosion suddenly erupted, and the skyscraper beneath their feet started shaking violently.
The trio looked out toward the noise—where a colossal figure floated in the sky.
Before it could even land, a massive energy beam blasted upward, engulfing Darkseid.
"Give me a lift,"Batman said, grabbing Superman's shoulder.
"With pleasure."Superman smiled faintly and took off with Batman in tow, flying toward the explosion.
Though Superman had failed to save him earlier, Batman still trusted him for showing up in the moment of crisis.
"You don't have to rush so much, you know. Don't you want to hear a story… about another version of yourselves?"
Kino flew after them.
A Few Minutes Earlier…
Behind FAIZ, a massive cluster of Omega Beams had gathered into a single, thick beam—just one meter from impact.
Despite the looming threat, FAIZ remained calm as ever, still attacking Darkseid.

FAIZ and his motorcycle became a blur, phasing through the broken terrain and accelerating straight toward Darkseid.
Behind him, the Omega Beam tore through everything in its path, its destructive aura terrifying.

In that electric moment, FAIZ abruptly ditched the bike and jumped aside midair.
The Omega Beam, still tracking the bike, now faced Darkseid himself.
Darkseid sneered.
But then, the beam curved—toward FAIZ midair.

FAIZ hovered in the air. The Omega Beam was just a centimeter away from hitting him.

A deafening tunnel burst open before FAIZ.
The other end appeared right in front of Darkseid.
Darkseid's expression shifted.
Point-Blank Explosion!
BOOM BOOM BOOM!
A brutal explosion engulfed Darkseid. The tunnel's force flung his body upward uncontrollably.
FAIZ flipped midair and landed cleanly on the ground. His feet scraped twin trenches into the earth as he skidded for dozens of meters before finally stopping.
His motorcycle was already waiting.
Its head opened to reveal two arm slots.
FAIZ slotted in both arms. The machine transformed, wrapping around his upper body. A black cannon emerged from the rear.
Terrifying energy gathered inside the barrel.
From afar, it looked like a monstrous handgun.
He aimed it straight at the rising Darkseid.
Darkseid opened his eyes and looked down.
Star-Breaking Cannon—FIRE!
BOOM!
A massive beam of light, brimming with world-ending energy, shot toward Darkseid in the sky.
Darkseid pulled out a small box with a red dot at its center. (p1)
The beam swallowed him whole. The sky split open, piercing straight into the depths of the cosmos.

Phase Shift: A technique that synchronizes one's molecular frequency with surrounding objects, allowing the user to pass through walls and solid matter—commonly used by the Flash.
Limitations: Phase shifting is ineffective against materials with special properties, high density, or magical attributes—such as high-density metals, special alloys, or enchanted walls.
Personally, I don't think Darkseid's body is any softer than reinforced metal.
