The Thunder God had abducted Xuanzang and his disciples without any attempt to conceal his actions. The first to know was Guanyin, and soon everyone was aware. Faced with this most ancient of great deities, everyone was at a loss, not knowing what he intended to do.
Did he want to eat Xuanzang's flesh for immortality?
This reason would make the immortals laugh. What level was Xuanzang at?
Guanyin roughly guessed it might have something to do with Nezha, but she wasn't sure of the details. How Nezha obtained the complete Hongmeng Purple Qi was not widely known, as it was not something to be propagated carelessly.
Guanyin planned to personally visit and speak in a good faith, and was even prepared to sacrifice some resources to exchange for Xuanzang and his disciples. Direct confrontation was out of the question; in the Buddhist Sect, the only one who could slightly contend with the Thunder God was the Peacock Great Bright King Bodhisattva.
