The merchant caravan arrived at a small town.
Before any trade could take place, a group of people led by academy scholars surrounded the caravan.
"We do not welcome merchandise from Wanling Country, get out of here."
The academy scholar shouted.
The people of the caravan were all very surprised.
Only Lady Earth Flow was calm: "We will stay here for one night, and we will not engage in any trade."
The townsfolk were skeptical and began to keep watch over them.
"Why do they dislike us so much?"
At night, a little demon asked Lady Earth Flow.
"The leaders are several academy scholars."
Lady Earth Flow answered, "They fear that we would sell spiritual objects to them, causing their children to learn and themselves to lose their jobs."
She could see through the reason at a glance.
Academy scholars were respected, so they could incite the people to resist change.
But they could not change anything.
"Then let's leave."
Someone else said, "Why stay here?"
