As the middle-aged man was instructing the youth, a sudden commotion erupted ahead.
A grinding stone-sized Green Stone fell from the sky, striking the carriage ahead which was too late to evade, smashing it instantly into pieces.
"What!"
"What's happening?"
As the middle-aged man hesitated, even appearing somewhat at a loss, another Green Stone descended, but this time it didn't target the front, but the tail end.
The large carriage at the back, upon being hit, also burst apart instantly, spilling sacks of grain and cutting off the retreat.
Facing the completely blocked and sealed road, the middle-aged man's face turned pale and he shouted at the top of his lungs: "Not good!"
"Ambush!"
Following his cry, house servants and guards swarmed down from the carriage. They instinctively drew their swords, ready to fight for their lives against the assailants.
However, when they actually saw who approached, they were all stunned in place.
