The endless bonfire, no longer endless. Just a tad bit taller than Keith. Making it stand at a good six foot something. The figure inside standing at what I think is the edge. The fire behind Keith, the figure staring past him toward the thing inside of Pride.
The same goes for the thing inside of Pride, they are both not looking at Keith but past him as if he's not even there. Just an obstacle in the way between their peripheral of both of their own visions.
"Pride, you know your not supposed to be out here."
The heavenly voice of the figure is the first to break the silence.
The figure stays inside of the bonfire not exiting talking from inside of it. Keeping the darkness inside of the bright light of the fire.
'That darkness shouldn't be possible with all the light around him?'
Keith thinks to himself. As he looks towards the bonfire.
"Ohh, but it is..."
The heavenly voice break through from the bonfire. Making Keith, surprised from the reaction.
"…the reason for that is because my regular form is terrifying enough to kill you by shock."
'The voice would have fooled me.'
"It does, doesn't it? Also, why are you still here, being back the real Keith. You have used up your purpose."
From within the bonfire, a dark hand rips through the fire. Showing a hand that stays shrouded in a dark cloud. That's cold to the touch. The distance between the Keith's face and the hand shrinking. The fire is feet away from Keith but somehow the hand is able to grab Keith face.
Its fingers, getting closer to Keith's face stretching and stretching, longer in a horrible, weird looking way. The fingers phase right through the mask as well. Now holding Keith's face in its whole hand. With fingers that are horribly long. The fingers reach even farther, digging into Keith's mind.
~~~
The finger grow closer and closer, it's now inside of my head. Digging deeper and deeper until it's at me. Holding it hand out to me. The only way it's actually visible in this darkness is because inside here it's extremely white. Nearly blinding.
It pushes itself through the orb. Its hand grabbing my face pulling me out of the darkness by force. Letting me be released from this dark prison. Leaving behind the other dark figures inside, which is supposedly my mind.
Before leaving my dark hand is grabbed and held, and a voice tells me something. My voice tells me something.
"Don't believe any of them, we don't know what they are."
~~~
Back out of the darkness inside of my own body. Looking myself up and down. I'm no longer a dark silhouette inside pure darkness. Pride still staring into the eyes of the figure. The figures hand slowly pulling away from me and now inside the bonfire.
The armor now pulls inside of my body. Receding back from every part of my body and disappearing once it gets toward my chest. The red face plate drops like it's a sliding door, sliding down and entering leaving my face vulnerable. The fire is like its own mirror, letting me see my face. My eyes are still red. Just like the color of the orb that I used to see out of my body.
My hair has some grass leaves and dirt inside of it. Making it extremely dirty. Along with sweat, a bath would be something that I need extra of right now.
"Good, now Pride are you going to tell me why your here? Or shall we wait for the angels?"
The figure asked the question, sounding threatening toward Pride.
The figure stops looking at me. I feel its eyes now on Pride. Watching him from its distance, taking a few steps back. Giving them some space to look at each other.
"I was going to rush my father's recovery, but I would be needing to do a lot."
Taking few more steps away trying to get away from the two things standing here around me. Every step being ever so slightly. Trying not to get caught in any way from them. They both stare past me at each other anyway.
"You know you can't do that. My father would be angry."
The figure extends its hand and points up into the sky. His hand still inside of the bonfire.
'Their fathers are rivals?'
That thought comes into my mind.
"Yes, I guess you could say that..."
The figure speaks its dark face, feeling like it's staring lasers through my body.
"…Also don't go running. There could be more vampires out there. Or not, I can't tell right now, my book isn't in front of me."
The figure is telling the truth, now that I think about it. There seems to be an increasing amount of panting going on inside the tree line. Yellow beading eyes staring through the tree line. Looking not at him, though I don't think they would mind a snack, not at the fire with the figure, but at Pride. The thing inside of prides body.
"That's true, but my representative was really not acting like one. You understand right. After all yours is also acting different then how he's supposed to be acting. I mean you even gave him the toy."
'Representative, me? What?'
The thing that Pride said has me stuck. What does he mean that I'm a representative of the figure or that the werewolf type, monster was his representative.
'Does that mean that the other woman was a representative as well?'
Something inside the woods snaps making me get out of my own head. I take a step closer inside now. The fear I'm feeling now is extreme. The killings that I once felt surprised that I could do it so easily, but the fighting and the running from what I though was a demon. Now knowing there is more than just one. It scares me.
The choice to choose from is the figure inside the bonfire, the thing calling himself Pride or the monsters in the woods that could most likely tear me to shreds in seconds, without any thought of remorse.
Sweat runs down my forehead. A lot on my arm as well, my arm drenched in sweat, along with my shirt having so much dirt on it, that it's brown now. Compared to its old white color.
I choose to move ever so slightly toward the bonfire. Knowing that it possibly could be the one that possesses the least amount of danger.
"I never gave them to him. They chose him. They now stay inside of his body. You also killed your own representative by not allowing defeat."
The figure starts talking, giving back a retort to Pride. Making him know what's happening even if I don't know what's happening. That I was chosen and by them.
I remember the dark silhouettes, standing around the orb and watching into it. Through my eyes. They are inside of me. The people that were inside the darkness watching as I fought or they fought. The people inside of me, are the people that seem to have chose me.
"There are always ways to work around it. He didn't work around it, he admitted defeat, not tactically retreating. Which he should have. That's how he died. Not by my hand."
"That is true, but keep in mind that you have never truly taught your way of thinking to any of your representatives."
The retort by the figure is calm and sincere. Meaning the guy that I fought didn't even know how to really use his power.
Holding my chest with my left hand, my heart feels like it's going to cave in. It's getting hot, my body is sweating. It seems to have been sweating bad. My heart beating loud as well.
My feet feel droopy as well. My legs starting to die, unable to fully hold myself up. Their conversation drifts off while they speak. My vision going dark. My heart beating feels different. Slower. A dark and foggy hand reaches out to me from the flame that's the last thing I see before my vision disappears completely.
~~~
Keith drops down, the dark, fogged hand of the figure grabs him seemingly trying to grab him, before he can, the armor reappears on Keith's body and the mask reappears on his face, covering him immediately as he jumps back just out of range of the forest but far enough that the hand doesn't grab him.
"He'll died from exhaustion. Both the mind and the body are worn out. Make him sleep completely."
The mask drop showing a face that is dumbfounded face. Keith doesn't say a word, just looking around. The armor, slowly starts to fade away. Making Keith's cloths return covering his body completely.
Keith turns around to look into the forest. In that instant the figure stretches its hand even longer chopping him on the back of his neck. Knocking out Keith instantly, making him drop to the ground.
The hand grabs his leg and drag him closer to the body.
"That's how you treat your representative?"
The question that Pride asked was sarcastic, and humorous for himself. Making him let out a laugh, to a joke only he gets.
"It's either I do this or let him fight more until he dies."
Pride stops laughing and looks around him spinning around with his hands on his hips. Finally once he does a full three sixty and looks at the bonfire again. He lets out a chuckle.
"But now your vulnerable to me and some friends, well more of dogs to me, but vulnerable no the less."
"Do you truly think that?"
From inside the bonfire a book is seen appearing on his hand. After writing a few words inside chains appeared on the outline of all the tree stopping any from jumping right into the battle. The wire that hit the tree, that fell into the ground now starts to move again, but this time in reverse. Moving at a higher speed back to its sender the woman.
Like a high speed bullet it slams into her arm, completely evaporating it. The woman drops off the tree, now fully assuming that something from above attacked her. Using the trees to hide herself.
"We aren't being watched tell me what you are doing here. You have about a minute before angels are sent."
The mythical voice of the figure talks down to Pride.
"I already told you. I'm setting up for my father but it would seem now isn't a good time at all. Making him be released now won't only have him be completely ambushed by angels. So, I'm returning back to hell."
A hole appears in the ground. A hole more than wide enough to fit more than ten bodies, but the hole just looks like a regular hole that been dug into the dirt.
"Just like that?"
The figure says with genuine curiosity.
"Yes, ohh and I have a feeling that the guy should be watched carefully. He is after all your only, representative am I right?"
"Your not, I have two representatives, both with incredible power."
Pride steps closer to the hole one foot already above the hole, while he's completely ready to jump down into the hole.
"I guess there are times when I'm wrong."
With a shrug it jump over the hole and for a second, just like a looney tunes cartoon, he stood still in place before another hole is ripped in the middle of that hole. This time not at the bottom but right at his feet. The hole has fire flying straight through it and it should be burning his legs but it's not.
Flames growing by the side of the hole. If any human were to stand right beside that hole they would be scorched to a crisp, but somehow Pride is completely fine.
In a few second the body gets pulled down into the ground. By hand that resembles the hand of the disfigured thing that now resides inside Pride's body.
"Back to Hell, I go, I'll see you Au…"
With a flick of the figures wrist, Pride's mouth is sewed shut. Making him unable to say any word. Making him never finish his sentence.
