Chapter 56 - Chapter 56: The Warborn’s Wrath

Kairos Unleashed – The Fall of Ren, Valea, and Damian

The battlefield was a storm of chaos. Flames, shadows, and celestial energy clashed violently, sending shockwaves through the ruined land.

Ren, Valea, and Damian panted heavily, their bodies battered from the relentless assault.

Across from them, Kairos stood tall, his body wreathed in black fire, the wounds on his body already closing at an unnatural rate.

Damian gritted his teeth. "Tch… he's still standing?"

Ren wiped the blood from his lips. "We have to end this now."

Valea's grip tightened on her daggers. "Then let's do it together."

The three warriors rushed forward in perfect sync.

Ren moved first, his fists crackling with celestial power, aiming a devastating punch at Kairos's chest.

Kairos dodged—but Valea was already behind him, her daggers slashing toward his throat.

Kairos smirked.

"Predictable."

FWOOOSH!

His shadow flames surged outward, knocking Valea off balance—

Just in time for Damian's blade to slash across his chest.

"Gah—!"

Kairos stumbled back, his eyes widening in pain.

But before Damian could press forward, Kairos's shadow surged to life.

Dark tendrils wrapped around Damian's arms and legs, locking him in place.

Then—

Kairos drove his fist into Damian's stomach.

"ARGH—!"

Damian coughed up blood, his body hurling through the air before crashing into a pile of rubble.

Ren's eyes widened. "DAMIAN!"

But Kairos wasn't done.

Before Ren could react, Kairos blurred forward, his fist wreathed in dark fire, and—

BOOOOOM!

Ren was sent spiraling into the dirt, his body bouncing across the battlefield before finally skidding to a stop.

Valea was the only one left standing.

Kairos turned to her slowly, his flames crackling ominously.

Her hands shook, but she held her ground.

Kairos chuckled. "Still standing, huh? Impressive."

Valea's breath was ragged, but she raised her daggers, eyes burning with determination.

"I won't… back down."

Kairos's smirk widened.

"Then—die with honor."

He vanished.

Valea barely had time to blink before—

SLASH!

Kairos appeared behind her, a deep gash running across her side.

She fell to her knees, blood dripping onto the broken ground.

Kairos gazed down at her. "Pathetic."

But before he could finish her off—

"That's enough, Kairos."

A commanding voice echoed across the battlefield.

Kairos stiffened.

From the shadows of the ruins, a figure cloaked in darkness emerged.

Kairos's cocky smirk disappeared.

"My Lord…"

The Lightning Warborn had arrived.

Bolt vs. Vael'Zarith – The Divine Storm

While Kairos faced his master, Bolt and his team struggled against the overwhelming force of Vael'Zarith.

The air crackled with divine lightning, golden energy surging across the battlefield like an unstoppable storm.

Bolt skidded backward, his body covered in burns, his breath ragged.

Akane, Aether, and Sylva stood beside him, bruised but standing.

Vael'Zarith floated above them, his eyes glowing with celestial power.

"I expected more from the so-called future of the Warborn."

Bolt clenched his fists. "We're not done yet."

Vael'Zarith smirked.

"Then—prove it."

With a single motion, he raised his hand, and the sky turned completely black.

Lightning poured from the heavens, converging into a massive spear of divine thunder.

The sheer power of it shook the land itself.

Sylva's eyes widened. "Bolt—! If that hits us, we're done!"

Bolt gritted his teeth.

He had one chance.

With a deep breath, he gathered every ounce of elemental energy in his body.

His lightning merged with his water, ice, wind, and earth abilities—

Creating a storm unlike any before.

His aura exploded outward, the very air shaking from his raw energy.

Vael'Zarith's smirk faltered.

Bolt's eyes burned with power.

Then—

He moved.

With blinding speed, he launched himself forward, his entire body transforming into a raging storm.

Vael'Zarith hurled the divine spear.

BOOOOOOOOM!

The two attacks collided, shaking the heavens themselves.

For a moment, the world was blinded by light.

Then—silence.

As the dust cleared—

Bolt stood tall.

Vael'Zarith stared at him, eyes filled with shock… and admiration.

"You've surpassed my expectations, Bolt."

Then, he smiled.

"But the real battle is just beginning."

And with that—

Vael'Zarith vanished into the storm.

---

Kairos stands before his master, the Lightning Warborn.

Bolt has proven himself—but the battle is far from over.

The Celestial Tempest has suffered, but they are not broken.

The war between the Warborn has only just begun.
