Taking the glass of wine Miko is handing me, I gulp it down, way too fast to even savour it, and it's halfway before I let up. Truth be told, I want to forget some of tonight. It's heavy, intense, and I am having a little trouble wrapping my head around everything.
Miko took me out on a date, then a guy attacked me and told me some very hurtful stiff. Miko disappears into the night and comes back almost in the morning, with a ring box, chocolate, and wine.
I don't know what to unpack, forts and honesty, I don't want to. Being drunk, letting him take care of me like he is, is what I need. If I think, it will hurt. I am done with the hurting parts.
"You're thinking again," Miko gets between my legs again, both of us naked after the bath. Good thing he soaked in too, because he was smelling a little of gasoline and smoke. I don't want to ask questions.
