The staff helps us move to the next set, where the puppies sleep, and we move to the couch. It's not a big couch per se, so we sit close, almost touching but not.
I tuck one leg underneath me as I face Miko, and he crosses his legs, body tilted towards me as we are handed another set of cards, holding questions to ask each other.
"' What do you see in each other?'… mmh," I put the card down, and look at Miko, who is chewing on his lower lip. The questions seem to have changed to a more detailed, more intimate style.
"Greatness," Miko says, all serious, but I start laughing, hiding my mouth with his cards in my hand.
"Be serious, will you?"
"I am serious. I see greatness in you. I see kindness, thoughtfulness, and leadership qualities too."
Okay, so not too intimate and personal. I nod and then look at the cards. I see a loving, caring boyfriend, selfless, supportive, and strong. I see a protector, provider, and these qualities are just barely scratching the surface.
