As Will caught sight of Ash approaching with Houndoom and Arcanine, he was surprised. In his experience, many people feared Dark-type Pokémon, but here was an exception in front of him.
"In that case... Go, Aerodactyl! Use Wing Attack!"
"Arcanine, go!"
"Roar!!!" *2
With two powerful roars, Arcanine and Aerodactyl charged toward each other. Their impact astonished everyone watching on television; Arcanine and Aerodactyl were evenly matched! This was the Pokémon of Will, the Elite Four! The level of power displayed was on a whole different scale compared to what they usually witnessed!
While this was just a clash of strength, the disparity was clear. Will's other Pokémon had been obliterated in seconds! A single Wing Attack from Aerodactyl had vaporized them!
As the audience marveled at Arcanine's performance, the second clash between Arcanine and Aerodactyl began. Will immediately commanded, "Use Supersonic to disrupt its movements! Then, follow up with Bite!"
"Roar!!!"
Upon hearing Will's instructions, Aerodactyl released a piercing Supersonic that blasted toward Arcanine. As a canine Pokémon, Arcanine had a heightened sense of hearing, making it incredibly vulnerable to the sonic waves. Observing Arcanine being disrupted, Ash commanded, "Arcanine, use Roar!"
Upon receiving Ash's order, Arcanine suddenly perked up and let out a formidable roar.
"Roar!!!!"
With Arcanine's roar, the effects of Aerodactyl's Supersonic were disrupted, and the overwhelming sound, now an attack, inflicted pain on Aerodactyl.
"Charge in with Bite!"
"Woof!!!"
Hearing the command, Arcanine's eyes gleamed with a fierce light as it rocketed toward Aerodactyl. Lacking knowledge of what the Depth Bite attack entailed, Aerodactyl hesitated momentarily. Will, too, was uncertain of what this move was, causing a brief stall in both their minds. This moment of hesitation allowed Arcanine to seize the opportunity, leaping onto Aerodactyl's back and biting down hard on its neck.
"Roar!!!!"
The intense pain sent Aerodactyl writhing and screeching, but the more it struggled, the deeper Arcanine's jaws sank into its flesh, culminating in a situation where Arcanine broke through the skin, biting down to the muscle.
"Aerodactyl, use Supersonic to knock it off!"
Seeing Aerodactyl's desperate situation, Will knew the pain had to be quelled to continue, so he commanded another Supersonic. However, this time, he made a fatal mistake...
"Roar!!!!"
As Aerodactyl unleashed another Supersonic, Arcanine grimaced, yet this time, along with the pain, there was an unprecedented ferocity in its gaze.
"Woof!!!!"
Triggered by the Supersonic attack, Arcanine unleashed its primal instincts, and the Depth Bite only became more devastating! Deeper! Always deeper!
The overwhelming pain under Arcanine's teeth continued to push Aerodactyl to its limits, until Aerodactyl could no longer maintain its Supersonic and fell silent.
"Now! Arcanine! Cerberus!!!! Bite him apart!!!!!!"
Seeing Aerodactyl cease its Supersonic attack, Ash delivered the final blow as Arcanine was enveloped in dark energy. To Will's astonishment, in full view of the shocked crowd, Arcanine appeared to sprout two additional heads made of the same dark energy. Each new head glared menacingly at Aerodactyl before unleashing a simultaneous bite!
Crunch!!!
A massive explosion resonated in the sky. Following the blast, Aerodactyl plummeted to the ground, covered in blood, while Arcanine, now reformed with the two dark heads, returned to Ash's side.
"How about that, folks watching at home? This is what you've always underestimated: Dark-type Pokémon! You've always feared us, and now you understand their strength, right? There are no weak Pokémon! Just weak trainers! And as you fear Dark-types, you're proving your own weaknesses! We are evil! Pure evil!"
"Roar!!!!" *3
As Ash finished his declaration, Arcanine and Houndoom let out their roars in unison, while Absol joined them from his Poké Ball, howling in protest against the unfair treatment they had endured in the past.
"Disaster Pokémon! That guy actually dares to capture a disaster Pokémon!!!"
When Absol appeared, the entire scene erupted into chaos. In this world, Absol seemed yet to be properly recognized, and upon its arrival, even the boldest reporters stumbled back in fear. Some began to flee in panic.
Will looked at Ash's Absol and frowned. He quickly recognized that this Absol was at the Champion level!
Taking in the situation, Will recalled Aerodactyl and asked, "With your strength, there's no reason to ally with Team Rocket. Why are you helping them?"
Hearing Will's question, Ash chuckled, "Why? Because it's interesting~ I'm Sebastian, one of Team Rocket's generals, so let's continue!"
