The carnival today was still vibrant, with enthusiastic people relentlessly pummeling Ma Jian. One elderly lady even gifted her dentures to him, but since he couldn't free his hands, she had to leave them on him for him to take off later.
Meanwhile, Ash Ketchum was getting his Squirtle to spray some water to wash his hands while glancing at the citizens and Pokémon beating Ma Jian.
"Hitting him feels like my hands are getting dirty. This kind of guy actually thinks he can make it to Broadway? They're already doing him a favor by not throwing him out."

Pikachu shook his head helplessly. He couldn't even be bothered to acknowledge someone like Ma Jian.
Watching Ma Jian getting mobbed, Misty voiced her concern, "Isn't he going to get killed?"
Regarding Misty's concern, Ash Ketchum looked at Ma Jian, who was being beaten by the next wave of people. "Don't worry; a guy with skin that thick won't get hurt."
"Really…"
Seeing that Ma Jian was still able to scream amidst the beating amused Misty. "I guess you guys are right…"

"Now I have enough evidence to arrest you for hypnotizing other trainers and causing the Exeggcute chaos that led to injuries and property damage! Everything you say will be used as evidence against you!"
As Jun Sha spoke, she handcuffed Ma Jian. She felt like punching him. The police had to focus on everyone's safety during the carnival, and now this jerk messed it all up.
"I'm innocent! If it weren't for those people trying to steal my Pokémon…"

With a solid slap from Chansey, Ma Jian lost a tooth, and Ash Ketchum quickly took out a wet tissue to wipe Chansey's hand, saying as he did, "Seriously, Chansey, how can you touch something so disgusting? Here, wipe up good; it's even worse than bacteria."
"Lucky!" (Thanks, Papa Ash!)
Jun Sha didn't say anything about Ma Jian getting slapped. The fact that he was still alive was already a testament to everyone's restraint.
"Those Exeggcute aren't your Pokémon. Since you caught them through hypnotizing other trainers, they should belong to that Fire-type Pokémon trainer."
Jun Sha looked at Ma Jian, who was still insisting that the Exeggcute belonged to him, and couldn't help but feel bewildered. Was he really living in his own world?
Meanwhile, Ash Ketchum said to Meowth, "Meowth, send a memo to Broadway detailing all of Mr. Ma Jian's actions, such as his unpaid wages, exploiting others to capture Pokémon, and creating chaos."
"No problem! I'll send all his info to the authorities. If possible, maybe we can even make him a trending news topic! Ah! Is he already trending?!"
Meowth was stunned to see the trending news online, and many curious onlookers gathered around to check out what was going on.
"Who knew there were such shameless individuals in this world! This is real; I must tell everyone!"
Then came a slew of Ma Jian's scandals—unpaid wages, hypnotizing others into helping him catch Pokémon, and causing chaos. Almost all of Ma Jian's dark deeds got published. To sum it up, Ma Jian became famous! But, unfortunately for him, it was all for the wrong reasons.
"Huh? Boss, this poster seems to have borrowed from our website, and the username is... 'I Love Freedom'…"
Hearing Meowth say that, Ash Ketchum was a bit surprised. "Huh? 'I Love Freedom'... he actually posted an article?! Meowth, log into my website account."
