Chapter 304 - The Fall of Imu

— — — — — —

Back at Mary Geoise—

"Oh?" Imu glanced up, sensing the meteors raining down from the sky. With a dismissive sneer, he scoffed, "Big and flashy… but they won't do anything to me."

Renzo grinned coldly. "You're free to ignore them. But if you do, Mary Geoise is toast—and every last Celestial Dragon along with it. That means you won't be able to use your so-called Uranus weapon anymore, will you?"

Imu's face darkened instantly. He shot upward into the sky like a bullet, racing toward the meteors.

With a powerful punch, he shattered the space before him—sending a shockwave that obliterated the first meteor. Then he repeated the process, destroying the rest one after another.

Suddenly, he reappeared in front of Renzo and threw a punch—

"Takamagahara!"

Without hesitation, Renzo activated Takamagahara.

Imu was instantly pulled into the domain-world. Over the years, Renzo had developed this pocket dimension until it was the size of a continent—roughly the scale of Asia—and reinforced it with the laws and energy systems of countless other worlds.

Imu immediately felt it: his link to the One Piece world was forcibly severed. His access to Devil Fruit powers? Gone.

All he had left was his physical strength and skills.

His expression shifted sharply. "You—!"

"Sage Art: Impact Punch!"

Renzo didn't give him the chance to react. He launched forward with a punch that Imu could barely follow in his weakened state.

BOOM!

The fist connected cleanly, slamming into Imu's gut with brutal force. Blood sprayed from his mouth.

"How long has it been… since I last felt pain? Since I was actually injured?"

But before he could gather himself—CRACK!

Another fist smashed into his skull, sending him crashing deep into the earth below.

He was still conscious. Barely.

"Damn, you're tougher than Akainu," Renzo muttered with a grin. "Guess I'll just keep going."

He grabbed Imu by the leg and—WHAM! WHAM! WHAM!—began swinging him like a ragdoll, slamming him over and over into the ground on both sides.

It looked like something straight out of Hulk vs. Loki—just with way more force.

Imu was furious, but he couldn't break free. Renzo's grip was like iron. Each slam made his insides churn, and his vision blurred from the repeated trauma.

BANG!

Another impact buried him deep in the dirt.

"Still conscious? Still not dead?" Renzo frowned, slightly annoyed. "Alright then. Let's try something else."

"Preta Path ~ Gakido"

"Soul Extraction!"

Renzo pressed a hand to Imu's head and yanked—pulling his soul straight out of his body.

"YOU BASTARD!" Imu's soul was strong—far stronger than any normal person's. Even outside his body, he could speak. He was still struggling.

"Shatter… Kyoka Suigetsu!"

Renzo unsheathed his Zanpakuto and activated its shikai form. In a single slash, he split Imu's soul in half.

That finally did it.

The remnants of Imu's spirit began to break apart and dissolve.

Renzo quickly reached out, catching the fragments and beginning to read through Imu's memories.

"As expected… so Uranus really is a Terran superweapon. And it needs Celestial Dragons as a sacrifice to activate. Hah! This could be fun to play around with later. Shouldn't be too hard to crack."

"But hahaha~ Celestial Dragons were just seeps raised to be used for Uranus, that's so funny~"

He then uncovered a treasure trove of secrets—centuries of history, hidden truths, and more importantly, the reason Imu could use so many Devil Fruit abilities.

Because he controlled the source of Devil Fruit power.

Imu didn't just eat multiple fruits. He was connected to the origin of them. That's why he could wield any ability at will.

"Well, well… I might just be able to control that power myself. After all, the mystery behind the Devil Fruits is no longer hidden from me—heh heh…"

With a wave of his hand, Renzo allowed what was left of Imu's soul to fade away into Takamagahara, where it would be absorbed by the dimension itself.

As for the body?

He figured it might still be useful, so he waved it into his personal lab within the Domain-world—might be worth dissecting later.

Only after cleaning up did Renzo finally close Takamagahara and reappear in the skies above Mary Geoise.

His spiritual sense expanded, scanning the whole island.

He swept through every hidden vault and treasury the Celestial Dragons had—and looted everything.

Gold, jewels, Berry, ancient relics—he took it all.

Most notably, he found over a hundred Devil Fruits, most stored away like trophies in private vaults.

He didn't even spare anything of value. After all—leaving it here would be a waste, wouldn't it?

Once he finished looting the place, Renzo floated higher into the sky. He drew both hands to his waist, forming the familiar shape of a blooming lotus.

Then came the chant.

"Ka...me...ha...me...HA!!"

A golden energy wave erupted from his palms, roaring down toward the center of Mary Geoise.

BOOM!!

The explosion shook the skies. Smoke and fire swallowed the city below.

When the dust finally settled, the once-lavish capital of the Celestial Dragons was gone—completely erased. In its place was a massive crater.

"Phew! All done!"

Renzo clapped his hands and grinned, satisfied. Though he muttered to himself, "Huh… using Ki in this world isn't nearly as potent as in Dragon Ball. Still strong though, just… different from Dragorr."

"Still, strong enough to get the job done."

He raised his left wrist and tapped his communicator, opening a wide broadcast.

On-screen appeared Sengoku, Garp, Dragon, Whitebeard, and Shanks.

"Yo! You guys can start moving now. The Celestial Dragons, the Five Elders, and that so-called 'Imu' are all gone."

"..."

Everyone on the call froze.

Sengoku was the first to react. "So fast? I saw those meteors get blasted to bits not long ago—how'd you deal with Imu that quickly?"

Whitebeard chuckled. "Gurararara! I saw it too—hell of a flashy attack!"

Shanks frowned slightly. "Are you sure Imu's really dead? That guy wasn't ordinary. Even facing him, I felt like an ant."

"Tch. You want proof? Here ya go."

Renzo casually waved a hand, and Imu's corpse appeared in front of the camera feed.

Shanks' pupils shrank. "That's him, no doubt. Renzo… you're insane. Alright. I've got no more doubts. I'll intercept Big Mom's crew immediately. No way I'm letting her take advantage of this chaos."

Whitebeard grinned. "Gurarara! Then I'll head for Kaido. Time to clean house!"

"Sounds good," Renzo nodded. "Just in case, I'm leaving a clone of Uchiha Madara with you, Whitebeard. As for you, Shanks—I'll send another clone your way to help deal with Big Mom."

Taking Linlin down with just the Red-Hair Pirates? Not happening. Or at least, not easily.

"Haha! That's music to my ears!" Shanks laughed brightly. "Even though I've got Mihawk backing me up, knowing your clone is on the way gives me a lot more confidence. How strong is this clone? Is it as strong as Madara?"

"Same strength," Renzo replied with a smirk. "No difference."

At that moment, Mihawk appeared behind Shanks in the video, scowling slightly.

"Oi, Shanks. When did I agree to help you?"

He shoved Shanks aside and looked into the projection. "Renzo. When are we gonna spar again? That advice you gave me last time really helped. I've made a lot of progress."

Renzo chuckled. "So you're hanging out with Shanks now, huh? Sure. I'm always up for a rematch."

"Oh—Zoro and Kuina has been itching to fight you too."

"Honestly, if you're not careful, one of them might beat you next time."

These two talents were the real deal.

Especially for Kuina— with Renzo's guidance making up for the biological gap between sexes, she'd grown far beyond the limitations of her past self.

Even Zoro, despite being treated just as fairly, hadn't quite caught up to her yet.

To be fair, Zoro was a few years younger. He'd probably catch up eventually.

Just maybe.

That would depend entirely on how hard the two of them worked—and who could go further in understanding swordsmanship.
