Chapter 264 - S-Class Heroes Take Notice

— — — — — —

BOOM!BOOM! BOOM!

Each time Saitama clapped his hands, it felt like the air itself exploded. The ground trembled with every hit. It was obvious—he wasn't holding back.

Suddenly, Red Queen's projection appeared beside Renzo, her tone serious: "Master! A mosquito-type monster is rampaging in the northeast, 22 kilometers from here. Several civilians have already been drained of their blood! The Hero Association just sent out an urgent request for help!"

Renzo gave a nod without hesitation. "Let HQ know—I'm on my way."

Then he looked over at Saitama, who was still struggling to swat a mosquito, and shouted, "Hey, Saitama! You hear that? A big mosquito monster just showed up. I'm heading over to deal with it. You coming or what?"

Saitama perked up immediately. "Wait for me! I'm coming too!"

In the blink of an eye, he was beside Renzo, throwing an arm over his shoulder with a determined grin. "Let's go! If I can't kill a tiny mosquito, I'll just beat the crap out of a giant one instead!"

Renzo chuckled. "Heh."

With that, he locked onto the coordinates and—whoosh—they both vanished from sight.

The next instant, they reappeared in front of a building, more than 20 kilometers away.

"Incineration Cannon!!"

Down below, they spotted a blond cyborg unleashing a powerful jet of flames, burning through a swarm of bloodthirsty mosquitoes.

"Genos, huh? Knew he'd show up," Renzo thought to himself.

He wasn't just interested in Genos' combat skills—his modifications and power systems were intriguing too. More importantly, Renzo was curious about the genius behind Genos' upgrades: Dr. Kuseno. Now that was a scientific mind worth studying.

"Let's give him a hand."

Renzo flew into the air, cold energy swirling around him as he gathered power.

"Ice Blizzard!"

He raised his right hand, forming a spiraling vortex of snow and wind. With a powerful swing, he hurled the blizzard toward the densest cluster of mosquitoes.

In an instant, the small vortex expanded into a towering snow tornado, dozens of meters tall and nearly eight meters wide. The temperature around them plummeted.

Any mosquito that got caught in the storm froze solid in mid-air, trapped in glittering crystalline ice.

Snap!

Renzo snapped his fingers—and just like that, the frozen pests shattered into sparkling fragments, disappearing into the wind.

Then, without missing a beat, he launched several more ice storms at the other swarms nearby.

Mosquitoes fell in droves, frozen and crushed before they could even react.

---

"..."

"Whoa!"

"Damn, that's incredible! I didn't know Creator X had ice powers too!"

"And get this—didn't he show up here with that bald guy out of nowhere? He was twenty-something kilometers away just seconds ago! That's gotta be teleportation!"

"Right? And considering the other powers we've seen him use... what can't he do?"

"Seriously, he's insane."

Over at Hero Association HQ, the operators and analysts—now hooked into Renzo's satellite surveillance system—watched the live feed of the battle in awe.

Even without stepping in personally, Renzo had boosted their intel capabilities by tenfold. Now, seeing his raw power firsthand, they couldn't help but talk about him.

Saitama, on the other hand?

...Was being completely ignored. After all, he couldn't even kill a single mosquito.

---

Back in Z-City, civilians rescued from the chaos—and others watching live footage from other cities—were also stunned by Renzo's power.

"So that's the new A-Class hero everyone's talking about? Creator X Renzo? He's amazing!"

"And way more handsome than Sweet Mask too!"

"Oh my god, he's so hot! I'd have his babies!"

"Back off! Creator X is mine!"

"Shut up, fangirls! Like he'd ever go for you losers."

"Excuse me? What'd you just say, you neckbearded troll?"

While the chaos of fandom raged online, Genos looked up at Renzo with a serious expression, watching as he effortlessly annihilated mosquito swarms from the sky.

"So that's the new A-Class Rank 2 hero… Creator X? Incredible."

Even from a distance, Genos noticed his own systems slowing down slightly.

"The cold... It's affecting my response time."

He quickly adjusted his core, increasing his internal temperature to fight off the freezing effects.

"Damn it!!!"

Suddenly, an angry female voice rang out from a distance.

Thousands of mosquitoes swarmed together in the sky, merging into a humanoid figure—half-woman, half-insect. A terrifying Mosquito Girl took shape, fury radiating from her eyes.

"You bastard! How dare you kill so many of my adorable babies?! I'll tear you apart!!"

Without warning, she shot toward Renzo at a terrifying speed, clawed hands aimed straight for his chest.

"Watch out!!" Genos shouted from below, panic in his voice.

Meanwhile, Saitama—still obsessively trying to swat a lone mosquito—glanced up briefly, then turned back to his own personal war. He wasn't worried about Renzo in the slightest.

"Come on… There's no way I can't kill one damn mosquito!"

As for Renzo? Please. That guy was ridiculously overpowered with tricks up his sleeve for days. A monster like this didn't stand a chance.

Just the other day, Renzo had sent a wood clone into the mountains to spar with Saitama, giving him a rough idea of the guy's strength.

Sure, the clone eventually got wiped out after running out of juice, but it put up a pretty solid fight. Saitama knew: if Renzo wanted to stall or drag things out, he had all the tools to be a nightmare opponent.

Of course, in the end, Saitama will be the winner.

...

"Absolute Zero."

Renzo grinned when he saw Mosquito Girl basically throw herself at him.

As soon as he waved his hand, an icy storm swept across the sky.

Mosquito Girl froze mid-air, her body completely encased in ice. The surrounding space even shimmered and crystallized from the sheer intensity of the cold—she was stuck, hovering motionless in the air like a bug trapped in amber.

She didn't even get a chance to react.

What seemed fast to Genos? To Renzo, it was snail-paced.

"Hmm. Not bad… might make a decent specimen."

With a casual flick of his wrist, Renzo sent the frozen Mosquito Girl into his personal material storage realm inside Takamagahara—he'd study her later when he had time.

---

"She's… done? Just like that?"

"That thing was at least Demon-level, right? And he took her out without breaking a sweat? No way... Creator X really is on another level!"

"Seriously!"

At Hero Association HQ, the office staff watching the live satellite feed erupted in excitement. The moment they saw Renzo casually end the threat, admiration swept through the room like wildfire.

Back in Z-City, crowds of rescued civilians and others watching from nearby cities cheered in awe. His name, his presence—it was electric.

At the same time, several top heroes were watching too.

Thanks to Renzo's tech contributions, many S-Class heroes now had access to portable live-stream feeds in their homes or dojos. It made staying up-to-date with threats—and saving time—so much easier.

"Oh ho? This new generation really is something special," Bang (Silver Fang) said with a nod. "And this streaming tech… I heard he gave it to the Association himself."

"Judging from what he just pulled off, he's clearly beyond A-Class. Even among S-Class heroes, he'd rank fairly high."

"Is he really that strong, Master?" asked Charanko, looking a bit skeptical. "I mean, yeah, that fight looked easy, but aren't you exaggerating?"

"Not at all," Bang replied calmly. "You weren't paying attention. Didn't you notice how that mosquito woman was frozen in midair? Not just her body—he froze the space around her. That's ice power at a spatial level."

"With that alone, Renzo deserves a mid-tier S-Class rank. And don't forget—he can fly, and he's shown signs of using spatial manipulation before. Remember how he just absorbed that frozen monster? That was clearly some kind of pocket dimension."

"His grasp of space-based abilities is no joke. Truly impressive for someone so young."

And truth be told, Bang was actually relieved. If the next generation was this strong, maybe, just maybe, the old guard could afford to relax a little.

Elsewhere, other S-Class heroes like Atomic Samurai, Child Emperor, Metal Knight, and even Puri-Puri Prisoner gave similar assessments.

"He really is something," said Sweet Mask, standing in a public plaza in C-City, gazing up at the holographic feed with a soft smile as he adjusted his hair. "Looks like you are just qualified to join the S-Class heroes after all."
