" Oh sweety, cut the pretense. Let's get the hell out of suffocating place." Maggie said, her voice a whisper wrapped in urgency.
Ann Lucy carefully pulled the duvet over the sleeping figure of old Master Smith, She glanced around the lavish chambers, as if she was looking for something.
"We can't afford to leave any evidence of our atrocity," she thought, her pulse quickening at the word.
As she turned towards the exit, a glint caught her eye. She quickly snatched the stack of documents from the old man's side table. With a devilish smirk of satisfaction, she smiled back at Maggie, excitement bubbling within her.
"What's our next move?" Ann Lucy eagerly asked, her eyes sparkling with mischief and malice.
"Sssh! What's wrong with you?" Maggie hissed under her breath, her eyes wide with exasperation. "We need to leave before someone notices us."
They went to the kitchen, cleaned the glass before heading to their bed chambers.
