Thomas and Maya tried their best, but the food was burnt.
"Aaron, dear, you must be hungry. Go freshen up, and we will make food in a short while", the couple spoke.
Aaron smiled, thinking about eating food his parents cooked and smiled, "Okay", and he went to his old room. When he opened the door, things were as they were when he left.
His parents cleaned the room regularly, but they kept his things as they used to be. They didn't change anything.
Seeing the scene, Aaron subconsciously smiled.
Parents are a child's first love and their pillars, but not every parent loves their child with all their heart. Some wouldn't care a bit at all.
He was lucky that he got parents who aren't like ones who are always busy or ones who are bad enough to not care about their kids.
He placed his bag and went to the bathroom to take a bath.
