"From this moment, the full 6-on-6 battle between First Young Master Siebold and Sixth Young Master Joseph begins! The match ends when all six Pokémon on one side lose the ability to battle!
Now, both sides, send out your Pokémon!"
With the referee's command, the long-anticipated battle finally began.
Siebold and Joseph simultaneously threw their Poké Balls. With a flash of red light, Meganium and Gyarados appeared on the battlefield at the same time.
"GYAAA!"
The moment it entered, Gyarados let out a sky-shaking roar, unleashing its full High Ace level pressure onto its opponent.
Intimidate activated, and Meganium's Attack was significantly reduced.
Immediately after, the referee shouted again, "Battle begin!"
"Gyarados, use Waterfall!"
"Meganium, block it with Reflect!"
"GYARAA!"
With another roar, a towering stream of water surged up beneath Gyarados as it charged ferociously toward Meganium.
Meganium slightly lowered its stance to stabilize its footing, while a golden hexagonal energy wall shimmered around its body, calmly awaiting Gyarados's arrival.
Boom!
Waterfall hit within seconds, but thanks to Reflect, the physical damage of the water was already halved.
"Ice Fang!" "Leech Seed!"
Siebold and Joseph gave simultaneous commands again. Neither Pokémon backed off, both launching their next move head-on.
Gyarados's massive jaws shimmered with icy blue light, striking mercilessly at Meganium's vulnerable neck.
But Meganium wasn't stupid. It sharply twisted its head, causing the Ice Fang to graze past its side.
Enduring the pain from the Ice Fang, Meganium wasted no time in scattering over a dozen Leech Seeds, which easily latched onto the massive Gyarados.
The moment the Leech Seeds made contact, they quickly took root and sprouted. With no limbs, Gyarados had no way to break free.
"Meganium, use Toxic!"
While Gyarados was caught up with the Leech Seeds, Joseph didn't hesitate to give his next command.
Spurt~
Purple poison splashed onto Gyarados once again, adding yet another negative status.
Fsssh~ Fsshhh~
The toxins began corroding Gyarados's body, while the Leech Seeds continuously drained its health/stamina and fed it back to Meganium.
In no time, Gyarados looked utterly miserable, seemingly overwhelmed by Meganium with no chance to retaliate.
"Gyarados, charge in and use Bite!"
Siebold's voice remained steady, and the flustered Gyarados quickly regained composure.
Ignoring the tangled vines covering its body, it opened its massive jaws once again and lunged toward Meganium.
"Double up Reflect!"
"Mega~!"
The golden hexagonal wall flashed again. With two layers of Reflect, Gyarados's physical attack damage was now just one-quarter of its original strength!
Next moment, Gyarados closed the distance, but its fangs weren't coated in Dark-type energy. Instead, an intensely hot flame surged from its mouth.
Fire Blast…
At point-blank range!
BOOM!!!
The explosion completely engulfed Meganium's position. Enduring the dual torment of Leech Seed and Toxic, Gyarados stumbled back with smoke curling from its mouth.
Deceptive command. Siebold had clearly switched the move last-minute, but the timing was so precise that it completely fooled Joseph.
As the smoke cleared, the fainted Meganium lay on the ground, completely scorched and looking rather pitiful.
Joseph didn't even wait for the referee's announcement; he immediately recalled Meganium, then handed the Poké Ball over to Clauncher and Delibird, who weren't participating in the match.
Having watched battles countless times, the two Pokémon -though not specialized support types- could easily stabilize Meganium's injuries and keep it from suffering further.
In the next instant, Joseph tossed out another Poké Ball, and a pink-and-white Pokémon appeared on the field.
Wigglytuff!
"Battle continues!" the referee quickly chimed in this time.
"Gyarados, use Iron Tail!"
"Wigglytuff, block it!"
Gyarados let out yet another roar as its massive tail lit up with a fierce metallic glow, swinging violently toward Wigglytuff.
But Wigglytuff's defensive tactic stunned the crowd.
They watched as Wigglytuff took a deep breath and inflated itself into a giant pink-and-white sphere.
Iron Tail came slashing down moments later, breaking through two layers of Reflect before finally hitting the balloon-like Wigglytuff.
Iron Tail actually sank deep into Wigglytuff's body… but never managed to knock it away.
"NOW! THUNDER!"
"TUUUFF! (o`εo)!"
With its tiny arms, Wigglytuff grabbed Gyarados's tail firmly and gave a "pouty" shout.
A flash of lightning followed; Gyarados, caught by the tail, had no way to escape and was struck directly by the Thunder that Wigglytuff had already prepared.
BOOM!
The nine-meter-long Gyarados crashed to the ground, even making the arena tremble slightly.
Meganium had fallen to a close-range Fire Blast, and Gyarados had been dropped by a close-range Thunder from Wigglytuff…
Many in the audience couldn't help wondering… 'was the Sixth Young Master doing this on purpose?'
Either way, that counterattack was undeniably powerful!
Then, without waiting for the referee's declaration, Siebold also recalled Gyarados and immediately threw out his next Poké Ball.
"Clawitzer, get ready for battle!"
"Battle continues!"
"Water Pulse!" "Thunderbolt!"
Clawitzer fired off Water Pulse at lightning speed, Siebold had barely finished saying "Water" before the attack was already unleashed.
Ability: Mega Launcher activated!
What would normally be a simple Water Pulse now surged with incredible power, so strong that it visibly compressed the ground as it flew.
Meanwhile, Wigglytuff had only just begun charging electricity, it hadn't even had time to fire.
BANG!
Water Pulse struck hard, transforming into a watery prison that locked Wigglytuff tightly inside.
…And right then, Wigglytuff's Thunderbolt had already reached the point of no return.
The Thunderbolt exploded, but was trapped within the watery sphere created by Water Pulse, resulting in rebound damage to Wigglytuff itself.
Immediately after, Siebold's next command came.
"Flash Cannon!"
At some point, Clawitzer had launched itself into the air. Its massive, dragon-head-shaped claw was already charging up a powerful burst of Steel-type energy.
In the next moment, Flash Cannon rained down on Wigglytuff, while the watery prison of Water Pulse still hadn't dispersed.
And the Reflect left behind by Meganium had no effect on Special Attacks.
Another explosion echoed through the air.
Joseph's second Pokémon was also defeated within the smoke…
He recalled Wigglytuff, which hadn't even gotten to show its true strengths, and softly whispered an apology before looking up again.
'Siebold… really was strong!'

Just for fun… if Pokemon weren't limited to just four moves, what do you guys think would end up being the most broken Abilities, the Pokemon with the craziest move set, the strongest Type, and the most broken support moves? You know, those support moves that, when you use them with the right offensive move, Abilitiy or Pokémon, just get waaaaaay too op. For me, Protean might be one of the most broken Abilities, I mean Hyper Beam with STAB…
