Alexander Steele walked in, his expression unreadable, his presence filling the entire room like a storm. His eyes locked on Elena's.
"We need to talk," he said. "Now."
Alexander Steele's presence dominated the hospital room like a force of nature. Elena stared at him, her mind struggling to process why he was here, how he was here.
Dr. Morrison cleared his throat awkwardly. "Mr. Steele, I was just about to discuss…"
"Discharge her." Alexander's voice cut through the room like a blade. "Now."
Elena's head snapped toward him. "What? No. I'm not going anywhere with you."
"You're being discharged," Alexander repeated, not even looking at her. His eyes stayed fixed on Dr. Morrison. "Get the paperwork ready."
"Mr. Steele, with all due respect, Ms. Rodriguez needs at least another day of observation." the doctor began.
"I don't care what she needs." Alexander's tone was ice. "I'm telling you to discharge her. Are we going to have a problem?"
