"Am I a bad father?" De Moda's words made Adam pause for a moment.
"Why are you saying that? Did Marco say something?" Adam asked, his voice filled with concern.
De Moda shook his head. "No… I just feel that way. You know, it's been days since he's properly talked to me. What did I even do wrong?
People marry for family benefit, don't they? Then why act like this?" His frustration spilled out in front of his best friend.
"Marrying for family benefit and marrying someone against their own will are two very different things," Adam replied calmly.
"How is it different? His mother and I aren't exactly a happy couple even now," De Moda snapped.
