"How are you feeling now?" Evan asked gently after taking Aryan to his apartment. He wasn't sure how to comfort him with words, so he simply stayed by his side, waiting in silence until Aryan calmed down.
"Yeah… I'm fine," Aryan replied, forcing a small smile.
"Dry yourself, or you'll catch a fever." Evan handed him a towel and added, "Or better—take a warm shower. I'll bring over some clothes from your apartment."
"Okay…" Aryan nodded softly and walked into the bathroom.
While he showered, Evan slipped out to fetch Aryan's clothes. But as the minutes passed and Aryan still hadn't come out, uneasiness began to stir in Evan's chest. Aryan's past actions haunted him—what if he did something reckless again?
Unable to calm his mind, Evan knocked on the bathroom door.
"Aryan… Aryan… Are you in there?" His voice clearly betrayed his anxiety.
