Fiona looked through the paper. The writing on it was simple.
"An invite?" She asked as she lifted her eyes from the item to look at Bradford.
"Yeah," Bradford said in a rather awkward manner. He felt a bit awkward about inviting her for the function. "It's an event I was invited to and if you look below, you'd see that I need a plus one
Fiona took her eyes back to the paper and observed the spot that he was talking about.
"But it's okay if you don't want to come," Bradford added as he braced himself up for if she was going to disappoint him.
She found his behaviour to be cute. For the fact that he acted a bit shy and nervous about the situation.
She giggled gently and held the card in her hand. "I'd love to come," She said to him, putting his mind at ease. "But what's the event about?" She asked, still curious to know what the event she'd be attending would look like.
