Chapter 368 - Warhammer: Lord of the Endless Monster Horde [367] (Bonus)

"Back to business—now that I have this Dark Giant body, I can better help you bear the divine child," Isha said.

A powerful Dark Giant is the best vessel. They're energy beings, able to change size at will, or inhabit much smaller bodies.

"I know, so let's work hard!

Now this body is split three ways—six hours a day are reserved for its original owner," Aisha said.

"Plus, as a giant's human form, we can open a mental space inside," Isha added.

"That's great—when you're in control, I'll rest in the mindspace, and vice versa.

When the main personality awakens, we can chat together.

By the way, I heard Dark Giants have a transformation device—don't let the main personality find it," Aisha said.

After half a year with Rhodes, she'd learned some of his secrets.

Dark Giants have transformation devices—every giant does. This special device must be kept from the main personality, or she might transform without knowing why.

"Okay, keep the device safe. When you need to transform, just hold it up and call 'Camearra'," Isha said, handing over a golden baton.

It was gold outside, but inside flowed green energy—Isha's life power. The Dark Giant was now changing its nature.

"Maybe in the future, we can develop new forms—like infusing my power," Aisha said.

"Absolutely not! Don't mess around—you need to separate from Chaos in the future.

Chaos power isn't a good thing, and your domains of love and beauty aren't very strong," Isha replied.

Your strongest power is Chaos, but whether Chaos and darkness match is another matter!

"Fine, fine! I'll focus on developing your life energy for now.

The main personality is about to awaken—let's chat in the mindspace," Aisha said.

The two goddesses retreated to the mindspace, giving control to Lelith.

Lelith stretched and walked over to Rhodes. Since the Life Goddess had borrowed her body, she'd had much less time to be active. If not for her Eldar longevity, she wouldn't have adapted—her days now felt cut in half.

"Rhodes, did something happen? Aren't we traveling in the Warp?" Lelith asked curiously.

Standing beside Rhodes was a golden-armored, two-meter-tall being resembling a robot.

Tartarus, now human-sized, kept his original appearance—he didn't mimic a human.

According to this level-nine life form, he wanted to maintain his original form around his master but would shift to human form around outsiders.

Tartarus's human form was that of a refined, handsome man in his thirties.

Seeing Lelith, Tartarus bowed slightly—she was now in a trinity state, and it would be a long time before the three separated.

"There was a small problem, but it's solved. We'll be back to Holy Terra soon. You can rest and focus on your pregnancy," Rhodes said.

"Mm."

Meanwhile, in the Warp, the Chaos Gods were also bewildered. Slaanesh's pleasure palace had been sealed by a strange golden energy.

This power was filled with temporal force—breaking the seal would take at least a century. It was Tartarus's time-space barrier.

Unless they broke this, the Chaos Gods wouldn't realize everyone inside was already gone.

"How strange! What kind of being cast this seal? Even we need a century to break it," Nurgle said.

"Tzeentch, you're our best mage—can you break this time-space barrier?" Vashtorr asked.

"No, this barrier is unique—a power never seen before in our universe. Fascinating! There are still secrets I don't know," Tzeentch said, excited.

As the Lord of Change, he loved novelty—new things and knowledge meant new power.

Unlike Nurgle, who preferred the old—hence their rivalry.

"I don't care about anything else. I only agreed to help you deal with Slaanesh, but now we can't. I'm going to find Isha—tell me where she is," Nurgle demanded.

He didn't care about anything but Isha—the Life Goddess had been by his side for over ten thousand years!

He didn't know who had taken poor Isha, and if she went to the material universe, he wouldn't be able to protect her.

"I'm not interested in breaking this barrier either. If there's no fight, I'm leaving," Khorne said impatiently.

Only war excited him. He wanted to figure out how to corrupt the Dark Giant—he was most interested in that being and the soon-to-revive Eldar War God.

If he could corrupt them, his power would grow. The eternal game was all that mattered.

"Heh, our alliance isn't very stable. But I can meet your requests. Nurgle, your Life Goddess was taken by a human Primarch.

Remember the zombie monster you got? It was a trap—he used it to infiltrate your garden, and with the human Emperor, plotted to steal your goddess," Vashtorr said.

He didn't know the exact details, but he could deduce that the Emperor was involved—otherwise, the new Primarch couldn't have escaped Nurgle's garden.

"That guy! Damn Emperor—he sent his son to steal my favorite Life Goddess.

I'll make the Emperor pay! I'll have my revenge on humanity!" Nurgle roared and left for his garden.

As a material universe null field, he couldn't go there himself—but he could send his greater daemons and daemon princes.

And thanks to that zombie monster, he'd gained something—it was time to upgrade all his minions.

He'd carry out Mortarion's plan—start a plague war on the Imperium.

Mortarion had proposed this before, but Nurgle hadn't wanted to participate.

But now, the Emperor had crossed the line—sending his son to steal Nurgle's Isha.

He'd perfect Mortarion's plan. The plague war would engulf the entire Imperium, not just Ultramar.

Rhodes was unaware that, due to an accident, the Emperor had taken the blame for a massive incident.

A plague war even more terrifying than the original timeline, personally launched by Nurgle, was about to begin.

As Nurgle left, Vashtorr continued, "Khorne, the Eldar War God will revive in a few years—keep an eye on Holy Terra. The Eldar are gathering his soul fragments; once they're all collected, he'll resurrect."

"I know. What about the Dark Giant?" Khorne asked.

Vashtorr shook his head. Khorne didn't get an answer, snorted, and returned to his Brass Citadel.

"I'll study the barrier and its new knowledge," Tzeentch said, staying behind.

After splitting from Tzeentch, Vashtorr traveled by unknown means to the Eye of Terror, meeting with Abaddon in secret.

"Did you get what I wanted?" Vashtorr asked.

"Of course—I went to great effort," Abaddon replied, opening his hand to reveal a chunk of black flesh.
