Chapter 130 - Swift Release

Naruto's body appeared in the cave behind the Konoha waterfall.

The Sensory Suppression Barrier was completely intact. Without pausing, he channeled the brand-new Chakra he had just condensed.

In the next second, he moved. A blurry afterimage flashed from one end of the cave to the other, his movement speed incredibly close to the speed of sound.

The extreme propulsion of Wind Release and the piercing penetration of Lightning Release stacked together, taking effect simultaneously during his movement.

This was the brand-new Kekkei Genkai born from the fusion of Wind and Lightning Chakra.

Swift Release!

Naruto flashed back and forth in the cave a few times. The ground was scraped with several deep marks by the airwaves of his movement.

"This is the Kekkei Genkai, Swift Release." Naruto murmured to himself.

However, although Swift Release's speed was astonishing, its consumption was also incredibly high. In just a short moment, the newly fused Swift Release Chakra was completely depleted.

Naruto stopped, panting slightly, and wiped away the sweat trickling from his forehead with his hand.

Although the consumption was high, he was not in a hurry. The fusion just now was equivalent to planting a seed in his body, and now this seed had already taken root in his Chakra system.

As long as he continuously channeled Chakra, he could generate Swift Release Chakra in a short amount of time. And the thing he lacked least was Chakra.

Naruto closed his eyes and channeled the Chakra in his body to fuse again according to the path from before.

A moment later, a brand-new stream of Chakra flowed through his body once again.

Naruto opened his eyes, the corners of his lips curving slightly upward.

...

Over the next period of time, Naruto repeatedly practiced adapting to the use of Swift Release in the Waterfall Cave.

He controlled the upper limit of Swift Release's speed, precisely adjusted the distance of each movement, and performed sudden stops, direction changes, and rapid flashes during high-speed movement.

Soon, he mastered the speed characteristics of Swift Release.

Since he was out on a mission with Jiraiya, Naruto prepared to head back once he mastered Swift Release.

If he waited until the Pervy Sage noticed he was missing, the old man would probably jump in anxiety.

Naruto checked the barriers around the cave, and after confirming there were no anomalies, he activated the Flying Thunder God Technique and appeared in the guest room of the inn on Adofu Street.

"Na... Naruto?"

Just then, a dumbfounded voice came from the corner of the room.

Naruto turned his head to look and saw Jiraiya half-squatting on a chair in the corner of the room, pointing a finger at him, his mouth wide open.

"You... you just..."

"When I came in earlier, I found a barrier had been set up in the room. There wasn't a single person inside the barrier."

"And then, right after I sat down, you appeared out of thin air."

"The Flying Thunder God Technique... this is definitely Minato's Flying Thunder God Technique..."

"When... when did you learn the Flying Thunder God Technique?" Jiraiya's eyes widened, his face filled with utter disbelief.

Looking at Jiraiya's state, Naruto knew he could no longer hide it.

The Flying Thunder God Technique was no ordinary Ninjutsu, he couldn't just brush it off with the excuse of learning it by chance.

However, he had no intention of keeping it hidden forever anyway, so he might as well take this opportunity to come clean.

"Pervy Sage, can you please sit down properly first? Watching you like that looks pretty exhausting."

Naruto sat down on the bed.

Jiraiya sat back in his chair mechanically, his eyes staring blankly at Naruto.

"Fine, I'm sitting properly. Explain."

Seeing Jiraiya's determined expression, Naruto couldn't help but chuckle.

It was good to take this opportunity to make things clear so he could use the Flying Thunder God Technique openly in the future.

"Before that, I want to ask you a question first, Pervy Sage."

Naruto looked into Jiraiya's eyes. "Is the Fourth Hokage my father?"

Jiraiya's expression froze.

He looked at Naruto's blue eyes, which were identical to Minato's.

"You already know..."

Jiraiya opened his mouth, but in the end, he just let out a sigh.

"Naruto, don't get worked up. The reason we didn't tell you is because there are too many complicated matters involved."

"Your father made countless enemies in the Ninja World back then, and your status as the Nine-Tails Jinchuriki is far too sensitive. If the outside world found out you are the Fourth Hokage's son, you would become a target for all hostile forces..."

"The Fourth Hokage has already told me all of this." Naruto raised his hand to interrupt Jiraiya, his tone flat.

"Minato already told you?"

Jiraiya was taken aback, then quickly realized and breathed a sigh of relief. "So, you mean you've known all along? You already knew even before the old man told you?"

Naruto nodded. "Yeah. Even knowing that my father is the Fourth Hokage, my dream is still the same as before—to become the Hokage and change the Ninja World."

Jiraiya stared blankly at the Naruto in front of him, then let out a small smile.

"If Minato could hear you say this, he would definitely be very happy. So, your Flying Thunder God Technique was taught to you by Minato?"

Jiraiya brought the topic back on track, and then, thinking of something, he asked, "Then, the Rasengan is too?"

Naruto explained, "He didn't have much Chakra left, so he first taught me the core theory of the Flying Thunder God Technique and the method of engraving the formula."

"For the Rasengan, he only had enough time to teach me the complete theory and practice techniques."

"Because I already had the theoretical foundation, I was able to master it so quickly when you taught me the Rasengan, Pervy Sage."
