Back in the imperial city of the beast elves.
A fleet of people was brought through the city gates, carried in carriages.
As they passed the crowded streets of the elven village, they felt as though they were criminals being carried for judgment.
The elves all gathered, looking at them.
Parents and children alike.
All the humans quietly brought their heads down.
Trying their very best to avoid eye contact with any of the elves.
Their hands were strapped behind their backs.
Some had no idea what had happened.
They had just woken up with a dull ache.
Only remembering the heavy feeling of sleep that overwhelmed them in the forest.
In front of the fleet, Mira rode graciously on the back of a grand white tiger.
And as usual, her monkey sitting with its spectacle over its left eye.
It walked gracefully through the crowd and the elves bowed in reverie as she passed them, acknowledging her as their princess.
