Chapter 411 - Chapter 411: The Result of the Spirit Fight

Chapter 411: The Result of the Spirit Fight

The moment the thought crossed his mind, Yun Qing didn't hesitate—he charged straight toward Tang Zhong, both fists clenched tight as the aura of his all-shattering intent surged once again around him.

Tang Zhong's expression hardened.

He had already seen through Darn's plan: he had to hold out until all six remaining members of the Sweet Tofu Pudding Team were eliminated, so that his teammates could gang up on Yun Qing together.

Feeling his own condition, Tang Zhong's eyes grew firm.

Two minutes left!

"Fight!"

A touch of madness appeared on Tang Zhong's face as his shattered spear re-formed in his hands.

The spirit rings behind him blazed one after another, and countless spirit skills erupted toward Yun Qing as he thrust forward, engaging him in fierce combat.

Thanks to Darn's early advantage, the momentum snowballed.

One by one, the remaining members of the Sweet Tofu Pudding Team were eliminated until only Yun Qing was left standing.

However, the Savory Tofu Pudding Team had also lost one member before the others could rush to provide support.

Thus, on the stage, the battle came down to this: the Savory Tofu Pudding Team had six members remaining, while the Sweet Tofu Pudding Team had only Yun Qing.

Facing the five opponents surging toward him, Yun Qing gave a cold snort, and the sixth spirit ring behind him shone for the first time.

In an instant, half the arena was engulfed in a dense fog so thick that visibility dropped to less than a meter.

Tang Zhong, already badly injured, turned pale. His spirit power flared as he swept out his spear, stirring up a powerful gust in an attempt to disperse the mist.

Yet the fog seemed endless—each time he cleared a patch, more rolled in to fill the space, swallowing everything once again.

"Regroup on me!" Tang Zhong roared, spirit power resonating through his voice so that his teammates could lock onto his position. His eyes glowed with violet light as he scanned his surroundings with utmost vigilance.

At such close range, it would be all too easy for the enemy to strike.

At that moment, Yun Qing had already moved silently to within five meters behind Tang Zhong—a distance that, between two six-ring spirit masters, could only be described as point-blank.

He quietly studied Tang Zhong, who was warily searching the mist, and glanced toward the other five who were cautiously moving in his direction after hearing Tang Zhong's shout.

Yun Qing gave a small shake of his head.

It's over.

All he needed to do was eliminate Tang Zhong—once that was done, the rest would be easy.

The Savory Tofu Pudding Team's strategy wasn't bad, but what they didn't know was that Yun Qing's sixth spirit skill was perfect for this situation.

Sixth Spirit Skill: World Enshrouding Fog.

This ability instantly summoned a thick mist over a wide area.

Within the fog, no one could see anything—not a single figure, not even a shadow—except Yun Qing himself.

And within the bounds of World Enshrouding Fog, the power of his Yin-attribute techniques would be greatly amplified.

In truth, this skill was already a prototype of a true domain.

But it wasn't without its limitations.

Just as Tang Zhong had guessed, Yun Qing's martial spirit—the Yin-Yang Weather Gauntlets—was tied to the dual aspects of Yin and Yang weather, allowing him to derive attacks from natural phenomena associated with cloudy (Yin) or sunny (Yang) days.

However, Yin and Yang were opposites.

Thus, Yun Qing could not use both types of abilities simultaneously.

Within the area of his sixth spirit skill, all his sun-related techniques—his first, fourth, and fifth spirit skills—were sealed.

The third spirit ring glowed.

Electric arcs of golden light crackled around Yun Qing's gauntlets, far more intense than before, the air itself humming with energy as stray sparks danced in every direction.

With a sharp crack of lightning, Yun Qing lunged forward and threw a thunderous punch at Tang Zhong.

Sensing the fierce gale of the strike rushing from behind, Tang Zhong froze mid-scan—and a grin of triumph spread across his face.

Finally.

His hands turned a translucent jade hue.

In one swift motion, he spun around and caught Yun Qing's incoming fists.

The Mysterious Jade Hands clamped down like iron tongs, locking the gauntlets in place and halting their advance entirely.

Violent arcs of electricity leapt and sparked across the point of contact, bursting through the jade barrier and surging wildly toward Tang Zhong's body.

Even though Tang Zhong's entire body was struck by the surging arcs of lightning—his hair standing completely on end—his hands never budged an inch.

Seeing Yun Qing's startled expression before him, a strange grin crept across Tang Zhong's face.

"Got you."

He naturally didn't bother to explain that he had once, by pure chance, used Full Moon Wearing Autumn Dew, which allowed his Purple Demon Eyes to reach the Mustard Seed realm rather than merely Detailed.

At that level, fog posed no obstruction to his vision at all.

Yun Qing had been under his gaze the entire time—his earlier glances and cautious posturing were nothing but an act.

The spirit rings behind Tang Zhong flared, and countless Ghost Vines burst from the ground, wrapping tightly around Yun Qing.

Although Yun Qing had no idea how Tang Zhong managed to detect his sneak attack, his reaction was lightning fast.

The moment the vines appeared, he wrenched himself free and swung his fists—dense mist swirling around the gauntlets—as he pounded at the encroaching vines.

Tang Zhong's Ghost Vines were tough and resilient, but against Yun Qing's overwhelming fists, they were torn apart with ease.

Just as Yun Qing was about to break free from the encirclement, a flicker of light flashed in Tang Zhong's eyes.

Time's up.

The fifth spirit ring ignited once more.

In that instant, all the ghost vines turned golden, binding Yun Qing tightly—especially his hands.

Under the effect of the Undying Golden Vine, Yun Qing couldn't even move; the flexible tendrils now felt like the most unbreakable shackles in existence.

Tang Zhong collapsed to the ground with a heavy sigh.

Watching the still-struggling Yun Qing before him, then glancing toward the approaching figures through the mist, he grinned and shouted,

"Everyone, beat him up!"

Thus, the seven-on-seven Spirit Fight—born out of the ridiculous debate between sweet and salty tofu pudding—finally ended with the Savory Tofu Pudding Team's victory.

When the fog that had blanketed half the arena finally dissipated, the audience was greeted with a comical sight: Yun Qing, tightly bound by golden vines, yelling "Sweet faction forever!" while the Savory Tofu Pudding Team enthusiastically pummeled him.

After watching for a moment, Qi Han couldn't help but laugh.

A dramatic duel ending in such a theatrical fashion—he had to admit, it was quite entertaining.

None of the contestants were seriously hurt, and no one's life was in danger, which let him relax.

Soon after, Qi Han and his staff bid farewell to the participants and returned to Han Shi, where they resumed practicing their dishes, preparing for the upcoming dinner service.

Time flew quickly—more than twenty days passed in the blink of an eye.

Following the duel between the Sweet and Savory Tofu Pudding Teams, the large-scale "Tofu Pudding War" finally died down.

Though small arguments still occurred here and there, they were now only minor squabbles.

Ironically, thanks to that Spirit Fight, tofu pudding had become one of Shrek City's most famous delicacies, its reputation even spreading beyond the city.

However, despite the duel being between the Sweet Tofu Pudding Team and the Savory Tofu Pudding Team, the story somehow evolved in retelling—rumors soon claimed that fourteen Title Douluo had fought over the matter.

Some even went as far as saying that Tang Qianqiu and Qi Poxiao, two of the world's Limit Douluo, had battled once again after a hundred years—all because of the debate over tofu pudding's flavor.

The rumors grew ever more absurd, but they also helped Han Shi's fame spread even further.

Still, Qi Han could only laugh helplessly when he heard about it.

Over these twenty-some days, he had completed all his 2 Star and 3 Star recipes.

Each dish, after being tested by his staff and disciples, received unanimous praise.

Yet, Qi Han hadn't immediately launched any of them.

He was waiting.

"Master, you mentioned that these new dishes need to be introduced at the right moment. When exactly is that moment?"

Late one night, after the supper service ended, Ye Lingqing suddenly remembered and couldn't resist asking.

Over the past few weeks, Ye Lingqing had mastered the preparation of Lamb Pao Mo and begun learning his next dish.

His work during the late-night service had become increasingly skillful, much to Qi Han's satisfaction.

Looking at his talented disciple, Qi Han smiled slightly.

"That moment," he said, "has finally come."
