April's POV:
And they never forgot their roots...
So from then, I had a new view of the world and it kinda made me stop seeing senior Ami as scary, I now saw her and other blacks in a new light, even when others thought I and Ivory were weird because we socialized with everyone regardless of their colours while they begin to question their attitude towards people of different color,so.... till date, I'm a fan of all colors and race as long as you don't cause me any trouble.
Out of reminiscing
I looked at her as she looked at all the collections of clothings with a hint of pride in her eyes,Ohhh my babies!! , she said as she clutched a red disco like patterned dress, "Hey, April!" She turned to look at me," This is like my best dress buh I'm giving you for tonight, we're gonna shut down Nicole's party!!", she yelled, I was surprised as to what party we were going to and I wasn't aware of ,"wait, I forgot to inform you about Nicole's birthday party, Nicole's boyfriend is loaded and the party's gonna be a total banger!!, you have to go and If I don't, it'll be very bad to my reputation as a 'Gen z Baddie ', pleasssssss", she looked at me with puppy eyes and again I couldn't resist, I really had to stop being so softhearted especially in this stormy world, She didn't wait for my answer as my fidgeting fingers sold me off, she pulled me to the pictures on the wall and we laughed at our funny and mischievous childhood while catching up on the time we've missed without each other, Ivory being her talkative self gave me a full recount on all her crazy experiences, I laughed so hard my stomach hurt and we ate some snacks and lay on the fluffy carpet while holding each other's arms and we pulled into a cuddle, soon falling asleep in each other's embrace.
