Fengyu Inn – Lianzhou City
As the night deepened and silence settled over Fengyu Inn, most of its occupants were lost in peaceful slumber. However, Feng Xiangling found herself unable to sleep. Restlessness filled her heart, so she quietly stepped out of her room and, with a graceful leap, landed atop the roof of the inn.
The cool night air wrapped around her as she gazed at the vast sky above. The moon shone brilliantly, casting a silver glow over the sleeping city, while countless stars twinkled like scattered diamonds. Sitting there, she was reminded of her childhood when she would sit by her window, whispering her day's thoughts to the moon, as if it were an old friend.
Her reverie was interrupted when she sensed someone approaching. Lin Liangchen landed softly beside her, his robes rustling in the night breeze.
"You should be resting," he said, his voice calm but filled with concern.
