"How did it go?" the President asked as Madur walked back into the office.
"He's going to give the order," Madur answered as he watched the President getting dressed in his suit. "But where are you going?"
"To the speech," William replied as he adjusted his tie. "I'm going to give a good speech to the people. In times of disaster, the best thing you can do is stay close to them, let them see that I'm standing with them."
"Don't you think this is the worst time for it?" Madur asked as he looked at him. "What if the agents come and kill you? What if James Bellini's men come and take your head?"
William suddenly stopped buttoning his suit the moment Madur mentioned his death.
