"It's all done…" Linda's tired voice came as she looked down at her watch. "It only took eighteen hours."
They were up since then, since she vomited, since everything started, since she got slapped by Stephen, all while Benjamin and the joint corruption killed many… they were doing everything to get some story behind why all of these happened.
The little fuckers, the gang members, the small time traffickers and street sellers, didn't need any documentation, to be honest. They already had warrants for their arrest, and a lot of them had been arrested more than once…. everything was stacked against them from the start. But on the other side for the ministers they had caught… and killed, it was different.
For them, they had to manufacture evidence, forge documents, fill in the gaps, and make sure the whole story looked clean enough to everybody.
