After standing around and waiting for a few minutes while James gathered himself and pushed away the negative thoughts about himself and everything else, they finally moved toward the guard box next to the gate. It was surprising at first because the guards said nothing and didn't even come close to him, yet the gates creaked open with just a nod from the guards.
Darvik huh… James thought as they went past the gate, and yeah, it was him or at least it needed to be him, because they didn't inform anybody about this visit and they just got through the gate without even saying a word.
A long driveway led to the embassy with the greenery, and they were all looking around, literally mesmerized by the view and land it got… moreover the big trees and even a lake that was on the side… something that really looked more like a luxury estate than a foreign country embassy… though it seemed the exact opposite of what Darvik said and what this country is about.
