There was silence after James shouted, though Mike knew very well it wasn't personal, and it wasn't because James was bossing around no, it was because he was frustrated with himself. It was clear that something happened with that guy.
So he didn't say anything more, because he knew if he just pushed on, he was just going to cause more suffering to him, because it was clear that James was having a panic attack caused by something that happened inside with this Darvik guy, this mysterious figure who just welcomed them. And he could guess that something big truly happened between them, while outside, nothing.
They just stood in the terminal, facing off with the soldiers but nothing more. Just calmly eyeing each other almost like they were flashing their power, like telling them that one wrong move and they're dead, that they are in power here.
And judging by James's reaction now, it was more clear.
