Ridan hummed a happy tune, perched on top of Hazuki's head, swaying his puffy body left and right while using his tiny hands to grip Hazuki's hair like reins to steer him out of the cave.
Hazuki let out a weary exhale before pinching the bridge of his nose while walking.
"Ugh... shut up, Ridan. You're being weird today."
"What?" Ridan smirked, his body still swaying with joy. "Can't I be happy? It's just humming. It's not like it's the first time~"
Hazuki glanced up, mumbling in annoyance. "It IS the first time, idiot. I've never even once heard you hum before."
"Oh, hush, Hazuki. Just let this great Ridan-sama enjoy his day, can you?"
Hazuki grumbled under his breath. "I don't know what's gotten into you..." before he shrugged and kept walking. "Whatever."
Ridan smiled, continuing his humming in enjoyment while steering Hazuki out of the cave.
