'I can finally start making progress!'
Today is my birthday, the date is currently October 9th and I've finally turned four and with my higher age comes more control over my body including finally being able to move exactly how I want to.
'These years have actually been quite nice, we got kicked out of that other apartment and had to settle with the basic genin apartment given my the Hokage but after some work it isn't too bad.'
Our apartment and location has obviously changed, instead of more welcoming cream colored walls a more dull grey has permeated every room and with only 3 rooms it's a small place. Though through some hard work done by my mother the place as been spruced up quite nicely.
With a yellowish white now over the previous grey in the each room except the laundry/storage combined with some makeshift and handmade shelves, tables and chairs due to selling the previous ones off, it gives a more "homey" feeling.
Slightly smiling at the surrounding around me I sit on the new rug bought just days ago. 'It's not the greatest, but she really did her best..'
Taking in the silent apartment as my mother, Natsumi is currently working one of her many odd jobs around the village as well as your common D rank missions such as gardening and cleaning.
'I can finally start training for real!....This is gonna suck..I've been prepared for it ever since I got to this war ridden world but it doesn't change the fact that this is gonna be a pain in the ass to train for. I could just sit back and let Naruto and Sasuke deal with this but for all I know the timeline could be messed up. Hell I don't even know if my mother was even supposed to survive her ordeal in the war, maybe she only survived so she could become my mother? Or maybe she would've survived either way? There's just no way of knowing!'
Getting up and stretching out my body my true efforts show themselves as I put both my hands together and behind my body before raising and turning them over my head and back to the front of my body.
'There is nothing special about this body, no absurd stamina, no natural extra strength, and I'm not any faster than I should be. But this body has one thing that can be considered special! I'm double jointed!'
Popping my shoulders, then elbows, and getting down to my fingers I then start to stretch my back pooping my spine as I go. 'I'm super flexible! I was double jointed in my first life which means I could do things like pull my arms in front of me even if I was handcuffed from behind, but this body takes it to a whole new level! I could previously only do those special movements with my arms but in this body my legs and even my pelvis are just as flexible!'
Sitting back down I start to stretch out my legs doing pseudo splits. 'I can even do full splits if I wanted to! While this isn't nearly as big of a boost as being a Uchiha or something would give me it'll help me cut down on training time considering I don't have to worry about training flexibility at least until I get older.'
Stretching out and shifting into a full split I hold the position of a minute. 'I'm no licenced doctor or anything but being this flexible has to come with some perks. I'll probably have to start building up muscle to see how high I can take it before my flexibility starts to decrease. Though I don't know how I'm going to hide that from my mother since I'll probably have to hide this until I reach the academy at the very least..'
Transitioning from my stretching I start doing my newly adopted workout routine that closely resembles a bald hero wearing the colors of a twin codement bottle.
'It'll probably take a while until I reach the point where I can start doing optimized muscle training but for now some more general exercises should do me some good. After I get to the point were I can do 50 push-ups, 80 sit-ups and a 5 KM run without stopping then I'll move onto pull-ups, curls, some leg workouts..I'll probably have to start doing something like calistenics in order to fully make use of my flexibility. At the same time I can work on my speed in terms of acceleration, reaction, and explosiveness...After that I can start to put on muscle in order to use that speed offensively in terms of combat...'
Sighing as I get done with my first set of 10 push-ups and 12 sit-ups I sit back and get my breath of a minute or so. 'There's so much to do...And I haven't even factored in Chakra training yet. Hopefully I'll be able to get some sort of control over Chakra, if I'm a lee then I see no way of getting past the Chunin level and I'll probably die my the time the third war comes around, let along the fourth.'
Doing another set of 10 push-ups and 12 sit-ups I then get into a plank and hold it for 30 seconds before dropping and resting. 'I've got to write this down somewhere..The question is how? I don't know how to write and read in Japanese or whatever language we're speaking but if I write it in English it could be deciphered...Or it could be seen as random jitterings of a four year old....Now that I think about it it's kinda of weird that I've got a sort of automatic translator for my ears but we I read labels, books, or anything of the sort I can't understand a thing..Probably one of the catches the crow refused to tell me about..'
Getting and making my way into the shared bedroom I go rummaging around and find a pencil and while I don't find paper I find a blank notebook that's clearly been sitting and collecting dust. Sitting down in the small desk sat it the corner of the room I start to write delberately messily. 'First thing is to make sure my handwriting looks like a child could've wrote it. Then write a couple nonsensical words on the page..Now I can get started with my actual routine.'
{Understanding Limits}
-Simple body movement: Running, Jumping, Throwing, Punching, Kicking. These have already been tested, and should develop simply without further isolation.
-Simple Exercises: Push-ups, Sit-ups, Planks, Lifting. To build a baseline for the body without overworking it to the point of stress. This also included the act of playing games like tag.
-Complex Exercises: More straining activity. Curls (Bicep, Tricep, Forearm.) Pull-ups. This also includes the potential carrying or limiting oneself with weights and doing simple exercises like running and jumping to increase leg power and overall muscle.
{Potential Assistors: Gravity and training seals. Both seals limit the body and put extra strain on muscles and other bodily functions, only use with caution and/or with the ability of regeneration to a certain extent such as a medical ninja.}
As I finish my first entry and start writing the second part I hear the turning of the door knob and the jingle of keys.
'Shit! She's back way too early.' Quickly grabbing the book and pencil I slide both of them underneath the bed before running out of the room and over to door that then opens and reveals...
'...Anbu?'
