For example, Volo's hairstyle is an expression of respect toward the alpaca, and he donated his "original-flavor shirt" and so on.
It has been confirmed that the ancestors of Alder, Archie, and Maxie were the three great figures of the Hisui region, though the exact period when they existed is unclear.
There is also the matter of Akari seemingly taking away the original copy of the survey Pokédex, causing Professor Laventon's achievements to be lost, and things like that.
The main point is to talk about some of the settings shown in last year's work and in this one. Some of this comes from detailed translations and reposts by hackers and Tieba users.
First is the war from 3,000 years ago. Quite a few people should have seen that patriotic Kalos NPC brother on the roadside: "Damn Galarians, are you here to avenge your ancestors?"
Although there is an opinion that this guy is talking about Leon making the taxi driver get lost, there is actually no related content connecting the two.
So it still is not clear who this "Galarian" refers to.
However, from Commander Kamado's armor displayed in the museum, what can be confirmed is that Galar and Kalos had poor relations in the past. Combined with the hints from Parfum Palace, we can tell that Galar invaded Kalos at least twice, and lost both times.
Of course, after the game director changed, they definitely were not going to talk much about a giant war like this. Children would not be able to handle it. The creature called a god should be Arceus. This explains why there are Plates in the Abyssal Ruins.
Also, Unova has the Cave of Being, which connects to Sinnoh.

Hop's role was the same as Blue's. He cleared the Elite Four ahead of the protagonist and waited for them, then lost five minutes later.
Finally, as Champion, the protagonist would give three Pokémon to a new generation of Trainers, corresponding to Leon giving out the three starters at the beginning of the official Sword and Shield version.
