For a while the private dining chamber was quiet.
Too quiet... To the point awkwardness was starting to seep in. This was not Adam's first date, but when it came the eccentric and weird like his dearest sister across from him. It might as well indeed be his first date.
But still, the awkward quietness aside, this was nice, really nice, all he wants in life is to spend as much times with his girls for as long as he remain in this world.
As such only the faint churns, and hums of the tower's inner mechanisms echoed through the walls, as the soft and sweet scented candles lined the long table, their flames swaying in unison with the couples breathing.
While Adam just looked at her with a smile, Priscilla sat across from Adam, her posture unnaturally stiff, her chin slightly raised as if she were trying very hard not to look impressed. But in reality she was just trying to mask her nervousness and embarrassment.
