Xiao Fei hesitated slightly before answering.
"I don't know of that my lord. No one knows where Master Chaos is or where his body is hidden. Even the old lord god searched for him for years without finding anything."
Fu Ling frowned. He had assumed Chaos would be here as well. Unless he wasn't awake yet. If that was the case, what was keeping him?
Was there something he was missing? He didn't think for one second that Chaos was awake but refused to show up. With him here, how could Chaos not show up?
Fu Ling walked outside, Xiao Fei at his heels. The so-called divine realm was still beautiful, but cold.
The rivers of light that once connected worlds now pulse weakly, their colors dulled. They were like pearls that had lost their luster.
Fu Ling touched one thread of light and it shivered under his fingers, then retreated.
"Even the heavens have forgotten who their master is."
