Later that day, Fu Ling had guests. The stood outside the door pressing the doorbell multiple times but he didn't answer.
It was the male and female protagonist. They were quite fast in finding this place. He didn't remember them coming to pay their condolences when Fu Ling's parents died.
Fu Ling mentally blocked out the sound and focused on scrolling through the internet. Some time passed and he realized he could no longer hear the annoying ringing. He checked the doorbell camera but there was no sign of them anymore.
Fu Ling shrugged. It was good that they left. He didn't want a confrontation now.
A week went by and instead of getting better, the situation got worse. This was when the magnitude of the situation finally set in.
Alot more people started scrambling for supplies but no one was willing to sell anymore. Everyone was looking out for themselves and the people who insisted the country would give an explanation were hit hardest.
