Tao Ran had been injured many times before so he knew what to buy and adding the first aid tools at home, Fu Ling was able to snatch Yan Zhi out of the hands of death.
Tao Ran took Yan Zhi's phone which was still ringing intermittently and looked at the caller ID.
"It says An Chaoyue. Should I pick it up?"
Fu Ling shook his head
"It'd be best if no one knows he's here. When he wakes up, he can contact his friends himself."
Tao Ran agreed and turned off the phone leaving it on the table.
He made some light food and left them alone.
Fu Ling guarded Yan Zhi all night and unconsciously fell asleep early the next morning.
Yan Zhi felt an extra wight on his hand and fought to open his eyes a crack. He looked at the familiar surroundings and then looked at the mass of dark hair at his side.
He wanted to rub Fu Ling's hair but ended up pulling his injury and hissed in pain which woke Fu Ling up.
"You're awake! Are you okay?"
Yan Zhi smiled. Fu Ling was caring about him
