Lennox gasps and begins to pant heavily as he sits up on a metal table. He looks around and realises he's in a dimly lit room, he looks at his hands and begins to notice there are wires coming from under the table that lead straight inwards to a hole in his chest.
And that's when he realises....
He was dead.
"Don't wiggle around....you're still recovering." Elliot says as he walks closer out of the shadows.
"What's up with you taking the form of a kid?" Lennox says slightly squinting his eyes confused.
"You can tell?" Elliot says taken aback.
"That you're not human?" Lennox says pinching the bridge of his nose still kinda disorientated.
"I knew it! I definetly should've went poking around in your head! Eris couldn't stop whining about ethics and all that mumbo jumbo though." Elliot says crossing his arms and sighing.
"Whoever that is you should definetly listen to her more.....either way." Lennox says looking around. "What the hells going on? Where am i and....was I dead?" Lennox says looking at Elliot.
"Can't answer the first question and yeah...you were dead."
Lennox looks down and closes his eyes sighing.
"Why?why was I brought back and....how?"
"Cause I need you and I can't answer the second one."
"You expect me to trust you huh?" Lennox says still looking down.
Elliot looks surprised.
"What's with that look?" Lennox says slightly turning his head.
"You dont remember me?" Elliot says lightly raising his eyebrow.
"Remember you? Kid....sorry....whatever you are...I have never seen you before in my life." Lennox says confused.
"Huh.." Elliot says nodding lightly and begins to pace around slowly.
"Okay look I need you to...I need you to let me go....I have somewhere to be.." lennox says looking around
"If you're worried about Solomons boy he made it out....he's in Zephyr." Elliot says still lightly pacing around.
"How did you-"
"Don't worry about that and please stop talking I'm thinking." Elliot says sternly.
Elliot finally stops pacing around and begins to lightly chuckle.
"Is something funny?" Lennox says perplexed
"Do you have a family?wife....a kid?" Elliot asks walking upto Lennox.
"No....why ask?" Lennox says still confused.
"You've been brainwashed....I knew your body was obviously tampered with in some...unfaithful ways separate from the robo stuff..but to this extent?" Elliot looks at him in the eyes while walking slightly closer.
"You better start explaining...I feel like I'm gonna lose my mind here....I was just brought back to life and now you're telling me I've been brainwashed? Wife....kid?" Lennox starts sweating and runs his fingers through his hair.
"You were still technically speaking one of my random soldiers in their eyes....why would they even consider bringing you back? Don't tell me he thought this out?" Elliot says smirking to himself sadistically while sweating.
As he says that the ceiling breaks open and a figure lands on the ground with a thud.
"That quick huh?" Elliot says raising an eyebrow.
"I've located the tracker the jinn is with him."
The figure says standing up out of the rubble and revealing a female wearing a white armour plated bodysuit with a white cloth covering her mouth.
"Jinn?" Lennox says bewildered.
"As the second in command Sentinel of the North named Veilwinter you are under arrest for blah blah blah you get the idea." Veilwinter says as she pats the dust of her shoulder plates.
"Veilwinter? Vessel?" Lennox begins to get into even more confusion and shock.
"Yeah yeah I'm an extradimensional being and you're the bait kid keep up." Elliot says scratching the back of his head.
"But tell me something this girl wasn't around ten years ago, fill me in on her." Elliot says crossing his arms.
"S-she's a sensory augment user...can turn off one of your five senses temporaril, in theory maybe she could do all of em but....its in theory" Lennox says regaining his composure.
"You know I'm still here right?" Veilwinter says as she's suddenly standing besides them.
"Also thanks for the crystal" she says holding up a teleportation crystal she seems to have picked from Elliots pocket.
"You know you can't beat me right?" Elliot says not even bothering to turn to look at her.
"That's the funny part...I don't need to" she snaps her fingers and Elliots goes blind.
"Tsk humans" he sighs as he raises both hands and grabs what seems to be a leg and he grabs what seems to be some pole like thing in his left hand. Once he regains his vision he sees that he's grabbed Veilwinters leg that was about to kick him in the head and a spear being held by a slim man in a black cloak who looks like he was about to stab into his shoulder.
"You didn't use your ability?" The cloaked man says annoyed.
"Of course I did idiot!" Veilwinter says struggling to pull her leg from Elliots grip.
Elliot effortlessly pushes them back and sends them back a few meters as they regain their balance.
"Listen I'm pretty tired and hungry and I'm not in the mood to a play a game of tag" Elliot says smugly and scratches the back of his head.
"He's mocking us??" Veilwinter thinks to herself frustrated.
A beep is heard and Lennox looks down to see the wires going into his chest suddenly cover up the hole and all detach as his chest is fully healed.
"I guess that's our cue to leave" Elliot says as he waves the teleportation crystal in his hand that he somehow was able to get back and he sticks his tongue out blowing raspberries at Veilwinter.
"Goddamn brat!..Final art: Curs-"
Before she can finish activating her final art Elliot is able to slam down the crystal and teleport himself and Lennox away.
Lennox and Elliot suddenly appear in a mountainous grassy region as Lennox collapses to the ground and struggles to regain his footing.
"Take it slow" Elliot says
"I still can't grasp whatever the hells going on...jinns are real and you're one of em huh?" Lennox says leaning back on a boulder.
"You dont need to grasp anything" Elliot pulls a piece of paper out of his pocket and reaches it towards Lennox.
"You can just head home" Elliot says smiling.
"What is this?" Lennox asks as he looks at the paper and realises coordinates are written on em.
"Your family"
Lennox looks up surprised and scoffs.
"So what? That's it? You're just gonna let me go?" Lennox asks kinda taken aback.
"Well....yeah, I figured out why you were kept alive by those goons bosses and yeah that is it." Elliot says shrugging.
"Thanks I guess." Lennox says lightly nodding.
"Ah whatever...either way I'm gonna head out..oh and by the way you've still got a tracker on you" Elliot says before squatting and jumping far off into the distance.
Wait...WHAT!" Lennox shouts out as Elliots gone.
