CHAPTER 100
Grace had never felt this way. She paced around the chamber, her mind racing, she wanted to run after Queen Judith, to tell her just how sorry she was.
She could hear the whispers in the hallway. The guards talking about her powers and asking if she knew exactly what she was doing.
"I don't", she whispered, "and I will prove to you all that I am better, and I'm a nice king". Grace said in a low but firm tone.
Meanwhile Queen Judith sat beside her husband King Charlenugo. "I am sorry, you had to go through all of this", she said to him.
King Charlengo only narrowed his eyes.
"I promise you, Quicke didn't know how much he hurt you, he didn't do it on purpose." Queen Judith said but all that was seen on King Charlengo's face was an unread expression.
She patted his shoulders and declared encouraging words to him.
