CHAPTER 90
King Charlenugo retreated out of the chamber and Grace followed behind him. "Father, please wait up and hear me out" she plead but King Charlenugo didn't respond.
As she followed him hastily, she stumbled into a meeting but was without her schedule.
Quickly she adjusted her crown and smoothened her robe. Now trying to regain composure.
"What is going here?" She asked knowing fully well what the meeting was for. Commander Robert again.
"We are here for an urgent meeting" one elder said.
Grace narrowed her eyes. "Without my schedule?"
Councillor Honest rose first, though his voice was strained. "Your Majesty, we have gathered to address the matter of Commander Robert's death."
A ripple of murmurs followed. Grace lowered herself into her seat at the head of the table. She rested her hands against the armrests, steadying them. "Speak," she said.
