(Author's POV)
"Step inside, my child, Myra. I have been waiting for you," a soft, serene voice called for her. Enchanted, her feet started on their own; her steps were careful as if she was treading on ice.
As soon as she walked inside, Myra's eyes went as wide as saucers. "Wh~ what is this? And~ …. who~ … who is this person? Is she one of the angels from heaven? My gosh, she is gorgeous." Myra was captivated by her charm and kept staring at her like an idiot. Obliviously, she had let her inner thoughts slip out of her mouth.
The woman standing in front of her chuckled lightly at her choice of words; her smile was as radiant as a sunburst, lighting the entire place.
Realizing, she quickly covered her mouth. Her cheeks flushed red with raw embarrassment as she lowered her head at once.
