Elisa's smile froze; her breath was caught in her throat. Her greens immediately shifted, landing on Aamon, who was five paces away from her. Arching his right brow upwards, he donned a charismatic smile.
Giving a teasing wink, he then remarked, "In the ancient scripture of hell, I found that finely ground silver can increase the potency of the demon circles. You don't have to thank me, my eternal queen. It's all for you."
Elisa's chest rose and fell. She was truly enraged by his audacity. Glaring at him with gritted teeth, she almost barked, almost, "You should have told me about it in advance, Marquis."
"Ohhh~ …. it might have slipped from my mind. There were too many things going on. My apologies. We don't need such formalities between us, do we?" his smile remained intact. He, in no fucking way, was feeling sorry at all. "Let's not waste the golden hour and continue with the ritual," he urged, blinking his eyes twice, making a docile expression.
