Everyone else in the room- the vampires, the werewolves, the bears were thrilled to hear his words. A girl~ … this nonpareil~ … they were bound to succeed.
Garry gritted his teeth. Yes, he had been a part of their wrongdoing. Yes, he wasn't a clean man at all, never had been. Yes, he was ready to dirty his hands anytime. Yet~ …. involving a child, a literal child, that was a clear no-no for him. She was even younger than his sons. He clutched his hands so tight that his knuckles turned white. That day, he resolved to see to it that Amelia Clinton was not harmed by these vicious beasts.
