"Who were you talking to at this time, Wendy?" William asked while mincing the veggies.
Wendy contemplated for a while whether to tell him or not. But she saw no harm, so she said, "It was~ …. Mr. Everests, asking where sis was."
"Mr. Everests, your new, temporary professor? Why will he ask for Myra?" he questioned, his brows furrowed.
Wendy clarified, "No, not him, dad. He is Prof. Dion Everests. The one who called me was Mr. Alaric Everests, the one in the photos." Apparently, William and Sandra weren't part of the campus forum, so they weren't aware of the whole issue at first, but when they went to the cafeteria this morning, they heard it from their colleagues.
William became more puzzled, "Why does he want to talk to Myra? Did he say anything?"
