"My girls~ …." Sandra pulled both her daughters into a tight hug, shedding a tear or two. William watched from behind with a soft expression. After another ten seconds, they all settled inside the car.
Myra rolled the window down and reminded her parents, her tone serious, "Mom, Dad, remember what I said~ … No~ …"
"We will, Myra. No going out in the dark, no talking to strangers and call you immediately if something happens, hmm," William repeated as he gave Sandra a side hug. "Now~ …. off you go. Otherwise, you all will be late."
William and Sandra stared at the receding vehicle as the former sighed and commented, "Our daughters have grown up. They are being a worrywart just like you."
