The door swung open fully, and for a long moment nobody in the hallway moved at all.
Sora stood just inside the doorway, a cloth still draped over one shoulder, her hair pulled back in a way none of them had ever seen on her, and her eyes went wide the instant they landed on the three of them standing there.
"No way," she said, voice barely above a whisper. "No way, no way, no way."
Echo broke first, closing the distance in two quick steps, and the group hug that followed swallowed all four of them at once, Jin and Joon pulled in just as fast, none of it dignified, none of it restrained, just relief spilling out of all of them at the same time after too many months of not knowing.
"You're actually here," Sora said, muffled against Echo's shoulder, laughing and something close to crying at the same time. "I heard the commander mention intruders earlier and I swear I didn't even think to connect it. Why would I. What are the odds."
