Jin found Joon and Seul in the makeshift rest area, both of them sprawled across a couple of empty mattresses while a young volunteer wrapped a fresh bandage around Seul's wrist. Joon had a bowl of something that looked like canned stew balanced on his knee, and he perked up the second Jin walked in.
"So?" Joon asked, mouth half full. "We good?"
"We're good," Jin said, lowering himself onto the edge of a mattress. "He's willing to let some of his people come with us."
Seul flexed her wrist once the volunteer finished, testing the wrap. "How many is some?"
"Forty," Jin said. "That's his limit. Enough to matter to us, not enough to gut what he's got left."
Joon set the bowl down, wiping his mouth with the back of his hand. "Forty out of a hundred? That's almost half."
"He's not thrilled about it either," Jin admitted. "But he said people have been wanting to leave for a while now. He just didn't have anywhere to send them."
